Move over Kylie Jenner, Vicki Gunvalson is coming for you. No, Vicki is not getting lip injections or dancing to rap songs on Snapchat. Vicki actually has her own line of lip colors in the works.
So it looks like the youngest Jenner has some competition in the reality TV lipstick business- a small subset, but still a subset nonetheless.
Vicki shared the news in an Instagram post that she has a line of lipsticks and lip gloss in the works called OC Dream. Vicki revealed, “I am so excited to introduce my Lipstick Collaboration with @LASplashcosmetics, after a year of perfecting these colors they are finally here!” She added, “Dropping 8/2/17 Mark those Calendars!”
Vicki posted another photo of herself trying out the products. She shared, “Trying on my lipsticks. Which one do you like? Can’t wait for August 2nd!”
She also put up another photo with the shade swatches. She captioned it with, “The Talented @bangtsikitsiki is in love with her OC dream collection, look at these amazing swatches! Which is your must have color??? Comment below!” There are six matte shades and twelve glosses. Surprisingly not one of the shades has a “woo hoo” reference in its name.
I’ve never looked at Vicki and thought she had a killer lip color game, so I can’t say that this is a perfect fit, but she’s in good company with the other reality stars pushing lip products. It will be interesting to see how this business goes. Hopefully it’s a lot better than those wines, the bacon flavored vodka, the cancer charity, the perfume….
