Stassi Schroeder has plenty of experience with Jax Taylor’s wily ways, so she’s not shocked at all about the new rumors that he may have cheated on current girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright. The Vanderpump Rules star says she wouldn’t put it past Jax to get another woman pregnant (in this case, SUR employee Faith Stowers) while in a committed relationship with someone else. After all – it happened to her!
Stassi teases that we’ve only just begun the long, harrowing descent into the madness of this latest Jax drama. According to former SUR server, the “story goes way further than that. The whole Jax-Faith-Brittany saga is intense.”
Intense, perhaps. But surprising? Nah. Stassi shared with ET, “I was not surprised because nothing Jax does surprises me, but it was more devastating than anything else because I think Brittany is such a wonderful person.” Stassi goes on to say that most of the groups’ anger toward Jax stems from their allegiance to Brittany who everyone agrees is a “kind, innocent woman.”
But of course, battle lines will be drawn! While the women naturally rally around Brittany, Jax’s number one co-dependent apologists, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz, will obviously back up their bro.
Stassi says that this situation makes for a godawful mess due to Tom 1 and Tom 2’s relationships with Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney. Will they be loyal to their friend, or to their girlfriends/wives? (I think we know the answer to that already. Groan.)

Stassi shares that “it’s difficult because then it puts everyone against each other, because of course, the boys always have Jax’s back, the girls have Brittany’s back.” But when Tom and Tom have to choose sides, “everyone starts fighting because people are defending different people and then it’s just an explosion.”
Well, this season is starting out with the extra-juicy gossip and in-fighting we’ve come to expect from Vanderpump Rules. Add to this, Stassi’s forthcoming seventeenth breakup with her boyfriend, Patrick, plus her real time podcast drama over shaming victims of sexual assault, and it seems all of the ingredients are in place for a messier than messy season. Will you be watching?
