If there’s one person who I bet can’t wait for 2017 to end it’s Luann de Lesseps. She got married on New Years Eve and was divorced from Tom D’Agostino before Christmas, and now she’s once again starting over. With a little help from her Real Housewives Of New York family.
Luann, along with Dorinda Medley and Ramona Singer, recently discussed their love for one and other. And for now that love is strong.
“We’re a discombobulated Housewives family. At the same time, we are family, you know what we mean? So I think we’ll like always be together,” Luann explained. Dorinda added, “We actually really enjoy each other’s company. I mean it goes to the left sometimes but we do have fun! We laugh so much.”
Oh, they’ve got the discombobulated thing down pat, but I’d go more with DYSFUNCTIONAL.
Right now, the ladies are rallying to support Luann, who finalized her divorce from Tom in October.
“We all wanted it to work,” insisted Ramona. “I never said, ‘I told you so.’ As soon as I heard the news, I reached out to her and I said, ‘I’m so sorry, my heart is breaking,’ because I know she really believed in that white picket fence, and the knight and shining armor, and I know she actually loved him, and it was sad. We all wanted it to work. When she took that plunge, and made that move, we were all hoping it would work.”
Now Luann is rebuilding her life. While staying single. Kinda. “I’m not really dating. I’m taking time for myself. I’m enjoying my children and my girlfriends. I’m getting my life back,” explained the former Countess.
“I’m looking for an apartment in the city. I’m just trying to get back on my feet. So, I don’t have time for boys right now, but that doesn’t mean I’m dead. I look around,” Luann joked to ET.
“She’s still alive gang,” Dorinda agreed.
Well, I’m glad to hear Luann is sorting herself out. I hope this means she stays single for a long while. And I have to say, Lu is looking fabulous. She’s aging in reverse, right?
