Whether you love Kim DePaola or love to hate her, Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers have to admit that she makes good TV. Her best friendship turned rivalry with Teresa Giudice has blessed us all with some epic Posche fashion show encounters over the years.
This season, Teresa claimed Kim D spread rumors that she is “reigniting old flames” while her husband is locked away in prison. Kim stirred up so much shit made such a major impact that she was invited to argue with Teresa to share her side of the story at the Season 8 reunion.
Kim D pulled a Sonja Morgan and went straight to Page Six with some scoop. She claimed, “They asked me to do the reunion,” which I definitely believe. The drama elevates to a whole other level with Kim D in the mix.
The notorious Kim D teased, “It’s gonna be very explosive. My ass didn’t hit the seat and we were already going at it!” I’m surprised she even had a place to sit. I figured Teresa would throw her chair off the stage as soon as she walked out.
As much as I’m living for the back-and-forth insults between Kim D and Teresa, I am still so confused by the origin of their beef. After years of Kim serving as Teresa’s number one soldier, they became bitter enemies as soon as Tre came back from “camp.” Kim said, “Teresa did me dirty. Look at all the friends she went through! Her cousin Kathy [Wakile]. Caroline [Manzo]. Jacqueline [Laurita]. She’s ruthless. She doesn’t care about anybody.” What Teresa did? Wasn’t Kim Teresa’s partner in crime for most of that drama?
Kim continued, “I speak the truth and I pushed Teresa’s buttons.” She also discussed their battle at the Posche fashion show where Teresa’s created a new acronym and chucked a glass. Kim said, “The reason I walked away from her was that she had a glass in her hand. The three times she went for that glass, it looked like she was gonna throw it at me. I’m not gonna let someone throw a glass at me. She can’t control herself.”
