We are only one episode into this season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , so it’s a little tough to know what we should expect from the rest of the season. As per usual, we were treated to some (unnecessary) discussion of last season’s drama, but then again, I’m sure that some of these women refuse to hang with each other unless they are contractually obligated to, so that might have genuinely been their first time to discuss last season. Nevertheless, I’m ready to move on to some fresh drama.
Lisa Rinna was the most buzzed-about cast member during that first episode. She wasn’t there for the beginning of the Las Vegas trip, but her arrival was highly discussed- and not in a good way. Kyle Richards was ready to confront Rinna after Harry Hamlin brought up Kim Richards while they were hiking. Dorit Kemsley isn’t over Rinna’s beef with PK Kemsley. And Lisa Vanderpump cannot help taking digs at Rinna- just like she always has. It would make sense to assume that most of the drama revolves around Rinna this season, but Rinna is actually pointing the finger at the other Lisa.
While she was on the red carpet for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 premiere party, all of the cast members spoke to Extra about the season. For the most part, no one actually revealed anything, but Rinna came through with some shade and she had no issue calling anyone out by name.
Rinna claimed, “Of course Lisa Vanderpump makes all the drama. Everything comes from her. She causes all the problems. Scene done. That’s it.” Vanderpump has always been a low key pot stirrer, so that isn’t new. Everyone just seems to afraid to confront or, or when they do they eventually fall back to being an ass kisser because it’s just too much work being her enemy. Is LVP up to her usual tricks or is she more out in the open with the shit stirring this season? Personally, I’m hoping for the latter.
Tonight is a new episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The ladies hit up Vegas together and things don’t go smoothly. “Teddi’s job as an accountability coach leads to questions amongst the group. When Lisa Vanderpump takes Erika to task for not responding whenever she reaches out to spend time with her, their friendship is called into question. Kyle and Dorit take issue with Lisa Rinna and confront her atop the High Roller—a 550 foot tall ferris wheel overlooking the Las Vegas strip. Teddi feels iced out in her attempts to get to know Erika.”
