The post-Real Housewives life can be rough for some of the franchise alums. Don’t get me wrong, some of the women are doing better than ever now that they are away from the drama and out of the spotlight. And then there are others…
In an ironic way, I wish there was some sort of reality show about the post-Real Housewives life. That would be a lot more interesting to see than the ladies who are flourishing with their sponsored Instagram posts for detox tea, tinted sunglasses, and monthly beauty boxes. Nevertheless, I know I’m not making a ton of sense, but basically I would love to see a reality show about these former reality stars without the Housewives perks. Case in point, Kelly Bensimon is now a real estate agent which is great and relatively normal news…. but wait for it: she is also selling homemade mink Birkenstock sandals.
Yes, you can actually slide into Kelly’s DM’s to buy made-to-order Birkenstock sandals with mink on them. This is someone that I need to see back on Real Housewives of New York and I’m hoping that she makes some cameo appearances next season. Even more than that, I’m hoping that there’s a plot twist where Bethenny Frankel has a line of Skinnygirl sandals in the works and takes offense to Kelly’s home crafted slides.
In more “typical” news, Kelly is also a real estate agent. The Real Deal reports that Kelly is an agent at Dolly Lenz Real Estate and that her first listing will be her own apartment that she plans to list for $10 million. This in combination with the fur sandals makes me miss Kelly’s presence on my television screen more than ever before.
