LeeAnne Locken On Possible Cast Changes For Real Housewives Of Dallas Season 3; Says Some Co-Stars Tried To Get Her Fired

Thanks (in large part) to LeeAnne Locken, Real Housewives of Dallas Season 2 majorly delivered. Pretty much nobody wanted the show to come back after a lackluster Season 1 centered around poop hats, charity squabbles, and Dallas society chatter, but LeeAnne the entire cast really stepped it up for round 2 and now the fans want more. Even so, there is no official word that the show will be back for Season 3.

It should return for another season, but as of now it’s up in the air. In the mean time, LeeAnne is sharing her thoughts on the show’s future, which cast members should return, and her other projects.

In a Facebook Live interview with The Dallas Morning News LeeAnne shared her viewpoint on the Real Housewives of Dallas viewers. She said, “I prefer to call them ‘friends.’ I don’t want fans, I want friends.” Thank God for the fans since half of the RHOD cast refuses to be friends with her even though she is Real Housewives of Dallas.

Just to warn you, LeeAnne fell into that Housewives cliche of referring to herself in the third person for a portion of this interview. In her defense, the question was phrased in an odd way: “Everyone wants to know, LeeAnne Locken, will there be a Season 3?” Yes, that phrasing didn’t ask for the use of the third person, but LeeAnne did say, “LeeAnne Locken wants to know, will there be a Season 3? If LeeAnne Locken knew she probably still couldn’t say because that big, bad Bravo company has good lawyers. So let’s hope.” I’m crossing my fingers over here. LeeAnne declared, “It’s a definite maybe.” Ugh.

In other news, LeeAnne shared, “I am in the process of taking my YouTube and my inspiration page and converting them into LeeAnne TV. It’s going to be all real talk with LeeAnne Locken and I’m just going to keep it 100. All day, every day, keeping it 100.”

Jumping back to the show, LeeAnne was asked, “If there was a Season 3, are there any cast mates that you would like to see gone?” Even though LeeAnne has issues with three out of the five other cast members, she actually said, “No. I’m not that person.”

LeeAnne explained, “Honestly, I’m not intimidated or afraid to film with anyone because my philosophy is, whatever you choose to bring me, you deserve any reaction you get. If you’re going to bring anger and accusations at me, be prepared. I think the world knows who I am by now. I’m always going to keep it real. I’m going to keep it 100.”

She even hinted, “Listen, a Housewives show is based on a group of women. Do I think that some of my Housewives would like to see me gone? Yeah, I think they even approached some of the other cast and asked them to help, but you know what, I think in the end, that’s an immaturity and I’m 50+ [years old]. There’s just no room for immaturity.”
