This week on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shamea Morton stirred the shit when she shadily asked Eva Marcille if her boyfriend was okay with her dating women, as the rumor mill alleged. Obviously Eva isn’t too happy with Shamea getting messy so soon after they met. Shamea thinks Eva needs to toughen up if she wants to be part of this reality show.
Eva shared on the After Show, “Let’s be clear, she [Shamea] doesn’t know me from Adam. So she claims this is her way of getting to know me. This is way too personal to try to just get to know someone.”
She explains the situation a bit: “I’ve never dated women, I’ve never dated Missy. I’ve never dated these people, they’re my friends. They are friends I’ve had in the business for a very long time.”
Eva thinks Shamea is projecting some of her own bullshit, like the rumors of Shamea being in a relationship with Kandi Burruss. She flat out calls Shamea thirsty for attention. “Whatever they did to you, that’s what they to do, what does that have to do with me? So to get to know me you are asking me about my man’s comfort with my sexuality? I’m so confused. No, you’re being thirsty.”
She then slams, “I know this might be new for Shamea, this thing called fame she knows nothing about, the life of an entertainer. So maybe she doesn’t understand how disrespectful that is.”
Shamea explains her side and swears she thought Eva’s relationship with a woman was not a secret. “I thought it was open. I didn’t think it was a sore spot. I thought she had taken the girl to an awards ceremony at some point. I didn’t even know I was touching on some old untapped waters or something.”
Shamea gives some advice to Eva: “If you want to be in this group, you gotta toughen up. I had to. Hell, I was accused of sleeping with Kandi and Todd. and look at me – I’m still hanging out.” She ended with, “Just that one little comment was the end of the beginning of the friendship. I was like ‘that was quick.'”
