When Naomie Olindo first appeared on Southern Charm, she was Craig Conover’s girlfriend. After a three year romance and many sewing-induced arguments, the couple called it quits. Now Naomie has a new man in her life, but she doesn’t want to share the relationship on television.
Naomie confirmed a relationship with an anesthesiologist named Metul Shah during an interview with People. She confessed, “I’m very, very happy.” Naomie also said, “He’s wonderful.” Before that interview, Naomie shared a photo on Instagram with the caption “Pray 4 him.”
This is exciting news for a lot of the Southern Charm viewers, but it looks like we won’t get to see this new relationship on the show. Naomie explained, “I don’t want to give any details about him, because I want to respect his privacy.” Noooo. Not another one. We already have Cameran Eubanks and her off-camera husband on this show. We can’t be stuck with Thomas Ravenel and Ashley Jacobs as the only couple on Southern Charm. I can only stomach so many of Thomas’ jokes about Plan B and I’ve already hit my limit.
Naomie answered, “Definitely not” when she was asked about sharing her relationship with the viewers. She added, “I think I learned that lesson the hard way.”
Speaking of Craig, Naomie shared, “We definitely both wish each other the best.” She also said, “We understand why it didn’t work out, and it’s time to move on and just be happy for each other. It’s a good thing.” Fair enough, but what does this mean for the show? Will Naomie still appear next season?
