What were you doing over Memorial Day weekend? Hopefully you weren’t celebrating like two of our favorite Real Housewives of New York…although if you were, you’ve got a Maserati or vacay in Palm Beach, so you’re already doing much better than I am!
Poor Ramona Singer totaled her new toy in a fender bender (or a Ramotor vehicle accident, as she would probably say) while driving on Montauk Highway. Near Bethenny Frankel’s house, maybe? Meanwhile, Tinsley Mortimer got into a bit of a tiff with Luann deLesseps’ ex-husband Tom D’Agostino, Jr. while dining out in Palm Beach, Florida.
According to Page Six, Tinsley and Tom exchanged words at Imoto restaurant on Thursday evening. Sources claim that Tom approached Tinsley who called him out for straying from his West Palm Beach neighborhood to hang with the upper crust under the guise of “sticking up for her friend.” Understandably (I mean, not really–I don’t understand this silliness at all!), this riled Tom and things got tense between the two. However, a friend of Tinsley’s reveals that it wasn’t such a big deal. Of Tom, the source shares, “He knows she’s on Team Luann. She was just sticking up for her friend.”
The same site is also reporting on Ramona’s accident. The RHONY star rear-ended a Mazda in Southampton, causing Montauk Highway eastbound traffic to be rerouted. Ramona was seen on the side of the highway with the Mazda’s passengers, with one witness saying that Ramona was “talking on her phone and was visibly annoyed.”
TMZ provides some additional information. Allegedly, Ramona was the at-fault driver who wasn’t paying attention when the Mazda in front of her came to an abrupt stop. When she slammed into the Mazda, it essentially caused a four-car pile-up. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured, although Ramona was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Unfortunately, Ramona’s Ramaserati was totaled. No Pinot Grigio or Turtle Time were involved in the accident, and the police didn’t issue any citations.
Fingers crossed you had a much nicer holiday weekend than Ramona and Tinsley!
