Season 5 of Southern Charm has been so good. They finally got the casting right and every episode this season has truly delivered. The fandom has banded together against Thomas Ravenel and Ashley Jacobs. Kathryn Dennis is finally getting the support she deserves. There is just so much going on this season.
What’s happening on tonight’s episode? Thankfully some clips have been released ahead of the episode. Austen Kroll is doing his best to be friends with his ex-girlfriend Chelsea Meissner while dating her (ex) friend Victoria. Spoiler alert: this doesn’t sit well with Victoria who comes after a photo of he and Chelsea hit social media. Austen digs himself into an even deeper hole, defending Chelsea. It looks like he’s not handling his interaction with either of these women very well, but it will make for some entertaining (and most likely awkward) television.
In a preview for the episode, Shep Rose is shown coming out of the hospital, laughing in a hospital gown- very casually.
And of course, the big event of the night is Thomas and Kathryn’s son Saint’s birthday party- you know, the one that Ashley demanded she get invited to. Spoiler alert: she was not invited and she says even more offensive statements. She has the audacity to tell Thomas “You guys aren’t a family. You were never a family. You never really were in love with her.” Really? I feel like coming for the mother of your man’s children is not in the gold digger new girlfriend handbook. Is it 9PM yet? It has been too long since last week’s episode. Why can’t this show be on twice a week? They are really killing it this year.
