Kandi Burruss was the Bravolebrity guest last night on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Kandi Koated Nights star dished on her Atlanta cast members during her appearance. Kandi talked about Kenya Moore‘s baby bump, Gregg Leakes‘ health, Apollo Nida‘s wedding, Sheree Whitfield‘s joggers and more!
Andy started off by playing a clip of Ashley Darby‘s singing from last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac and asked Kandi to critique it. “It’s not baadd.” Kandi said with a cringing face. She then commented that she can work wonders with anyone in a studio, which had Andy chiming in to joke about the magic she worked on Don’t Be Tardy with Kim Zolciak. Kandi then shared that she’s officially done helping Housewives with their singing careers/songs. We can’t imagine why!
What does Kandi think about Apollo‘s fiance doing an episode of Say Yes To the Dress? “Interesting.” When asked if she’s attending Apollo Nida’s wedding, she said “I didn’t get an invite.” She then added, “I don’t wanna be caught up in that drama.” Kandi said it’s not her issue and doesn’t want to get tangled up in it.
On how NeNe and Gregg Leakes are doing after revealing his cancer diagnosis: “I just saw them, I went to Miami and hung out with them. Gregg is in great spirits, but as a friend, you obviously hate to see him even going through that. So it kind of touched me to see that he’s in this situation, but he has great spirits.” She said he’s doing a lot better and she hopes he continues to get rest and relaxation.
When a viewer asked if Kandi thinks we’ll be seeing joggers from She by Sheree by September, Kandi just made a face and didn’t respond immediately. After an awkward pause she finally said, “I hope so.”
Has Kandi seen Kenya‘s baby bump? And how is Kenya doing? “Well, I just recently ran into Kenya and rubbed the baby bump. She’s doing great and I was just so excited to see her.” She said they ran into each other at the airport. “She’s still going back and forth from New York to Atlanta.” She said “it was cool and random” when asked about the ‘chances’ of her running into Kenya like that.
