The youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner family is on the latest cover for Forbes and it’s for a pretty impressive reason. Kylie Jenner is on track to become the youngest self-made billionaire thanks to her beauty line, appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, app, social media sponsors, and everything else she has going on.
According to the Forbes article, Kylie is set to beat Mark Zuckerberg’s record for being the youngest self-made billionaire, a title that he secured at age 23.
Where is all of that money coming from? Her beauty line Kylie Cosmetics has earned over $900 million since it launched three years ago. Forbes values Kylie Cosmetics- a company that she owns 100% of- at $800 million.
The Forbes Instagram account posted a photo of Kylie’s cover shot with the caption “Kylie Jenner is on track to become the youngest self-made billionaire ever, ahead of even Mark Zuckerberg, who became a billionaire at age 23. Kylie also posted the Forbes cover photo on Instagram and wrote, “wow. i can’t believe I’m posting my very own @forbes cover. thank you for this article and the recognition. I’m so blessed to do what i love everyday. i couldn’t have dreamt this up! #KylieCosmetics.”
Kylie’s mother (and infamous momager) Kris Jenner shared that same cover photo on Instagram and wrote, “My beauty on the cover of Forbes Magazine!! I am SO proud of you @kyliejenner and everything you have accomplished. You work so tirelessly on your business, and with so much passion and precision. As a mother, it brings me immense joy to watch you continue to make your @kyliecosmetics dreams a reality!! @forbes #Forbes.”
Kylie’s older sister Kim Kardashian West posted about the Forbes cover twice on Twitter. In her first tweet, she wrote, “CONGRATS @KylieJenner” along with some fire emojis. In her second tweet, she wrote, “Wait I’m posting this again just because!!!! BILLION DOLLAR BABY.”
