Real Housewives Of New York Recap: Wigging Out

Luann de Lesseps Intends To Perform Cabaret Shows After Rehab; Judge Won’t Let Luann Resolve Case If She’s Still In Rehab

There are some Housewives who have to reach for a story line with their business ventures, fake relationships, and other contrived plot lines. Luann de Lesseps is not one of those Housewives. This woman is just the gift that keeps on giving.

Nothing can stop her from moving forward: not a divorce, a drunken arrest, a rehab stint, or even a second rehab stint. And that’s not even the entire list of everything Luann has been through in the past year. Even with all of that she is still very insistent on coming through for her upcoming cabaret performances.

Luann– or whoever is running her Instagram account while she is in rehab- gave a social media update for her fans. She didn’t actually reveal much. I have to assume she’s saving those details for another one-on-one interview with Andy Cohen. However, she did take the opportunity for some self-promotion, of course.

Luann de Lesseps Plea Deal Reached- Likely To Avoid Jail Time

She shared a video of herself on stage at her cabaret show with the caption “Thank you so much for all of your support. I wanted you to know I’m doing great, & I hope you’ll come and see me on Aug 4th in Long Island @theparamountny or Aug 24th in Atlantic City @borgataac Looking forward to being back on stage!!!” She also shared a link to buy those tickets, of course. As someone who actually did buy tickets to one of those shows, I’m not gonna lie, I was concerned that she would not be ready to perform. Obviously the (much) greater concern is Luann’s safety and well-being.

With that said an “insider” told E! News, “She loves the stage, and as they say, they show must go on!” Of course it does. Luann is the queen of just picking up and carrying on as if there’s nothing wrong.  Plus she does have some legal fees to pay with those ticket profits.

Page Six obtained court documents that stated Luann has to show up to court next month in Florida to plead guilty to charges from her Christmas Eve arrest because the judge will not let her resolve the case from rehab. Does this mean she’s going to pop into court and then return to rehab?

TELL US- DO YOU THINK IT’S A GOOD IDEA FOR LUANN TO RETURN TO HER CABARET PERFORMANCES SO SOON AFTER REHAB? WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE JUDGE REFUSING TO LET LUANN RESOLVE HER CASE WHILE SHE IS STILL IN REHAB?
