Even though we are only one episode in with Season 3 of Real Housewives of Dallas, it is already very clear what we can expect. DâAndra Simmons joined the cast as LeeAnne Lockenâs best friend, but itâs clear that there is some tension brewing. DâAndra was not buying into LeeAnneâs amygdala talk during that meditation session.
Not only that, but DâAndra decided to ambush LeeAnne and Rich Emberlin to get married during her own anniversary party. Itâs clear that these two just arenât on the same page like they used to be. There was foreshadowing in that first episode, they arenât liking each otherâs posts on Instagram these days (yes, I checked), and they were screaming in each otherâs faces during the Season 3 trailer.
Aside from all of that, LeeAnne is throwing shade at DâAndra in a Bravo blog post. The scenes on the show were filmed months ago, but this blog entry is fresh. LeeAnne is either very good at writing these blogs in the same frame of mind that she was in during filming, or there is still a lot of tension between the (former?) friends. You be the judge.

LeeAnne came out swinging: âI have to say, watching someone who calls herself my âbest friendâ laugh like a wicked witch at my attempts to better myself is not very funny. In fact, itâs downright hurtful. Let me first correct you â I have ALWAYS taken responsibility for my actions THAT IS WHY WE WERE AT THE YOGA CENTER!â DâAndra practically rolled her eyes out loud while LeeAnne talked about the residual effects of her tough childhood.
LeeAnne wrote, âNow as for you making the disgusting statement âthatâs not your amygdala, itâs youâ, well that just shows you her utter lack of intelligence! She claims to be a âvoraciousâ reader⌠Maybe she should Google a bit before she opens her big mouth!â Itâs one thing to be upset about DâAndraâs lack of interest during that meditation session, but saying that she has an âutter lack of intelligenceâ does not indicate that she and DâAndra on good terms these days. At all.
LeeAnne also addressed DâAndraâs surprise wedding stunt: âLet me be clearâŚ.. NOTHING is stalling my wedding and just because you say it doesnât make it so. We are CHOOSING to take our time and enjoy the journey towards a forever life together.â
She also used this an opportunity to shade DâAndraâs personal life: âWhy is DâAndra spending so much time worrying about my relationship? Could it be because she doesnât want to face whatâs going on in her own relationships? I wonderâŚâ The gloves are off.
While things are not going well with DâAndra, it seems like there is some hope for LeeAnne and Cary Deuber to finally be on good terms. LeeAnne wrote, âI felt like every year up to now, when Cary and I sat down to talk it has always had elements of fake conversations, just trying to get through the moment so that we could each just get away from each other. If we didnât attempt to get away quickly, we fell into a tit for tat and one-upmanship that we took to a whole ânother level.â
She continued, âThis year, realizing that QUICKLY responding to her wasnât getting me where I wanted to be, I tried a NEW APPROACH! I listened! And what I heard for the first time made me feel like we had a REAL SHOT at connecting! I am so thrilled for the NEW Cary and her NEW no BS attitude! This is all I have ever wanted.â Will the peace last or is this just a temporary truce?
