Brandi Glanville never disappoints when it comes to spilling tea on her podcast, Unfiltered with Brandi Glanville. She sat down this week to chat with her bestie, former Real Housewives of New York star Kristen Taekman. During their chat, Brandi revealed that she dated Ryan Seacrest after she left Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. They ladies dish on everything from post-Housewives friendships and more!
Kristen is asked if she’s still friendly with any of her former RHONY stars. She says that she still talks to Heather Thomson and is “friendly” with the other ladies, but does not talk to them or keep in touch since everyone is so busy. She also says the age difference might have something to do with it since they were all about 20 years older than her. Brandi keeps in touch with Yolanda Hadid a little, but shares that she texts with Kim Richards every day. “I don’t really talk to anyone else. Obviously LVP and I have our issues. I ran into Rinna and she’s fine. We’re always chatty.”

She continues, “it’s a weird thing because when I left, I felt relief. I was sad, but I woke up with a smile on my face.” Brandi and Kristen both agree there are things they miss about the shows, but not the pressure that came along with it.
As they talk about post-Housewives life, Brandi casually drops the bombshell that she dated Ryan Seacrest for about six months. “I remember right after I was relieved and then I had my little fling/secret affair with Ryan Seacrest for six months.” Kristen is flabbergasted, asking what she is talking about. Brandi says “I don’t think he ever would’ve dated me if I was on the show. It was right after I came off the show.” Brandi adds, “He just called me one day.” Brandi says Ryan was “completely lovely. It lasted like six months and whatever, we’re still friends. He’s actually a proper gentleman, unlike Gerard, let’s just say.” She admits that leaving the show changed her dating life because before nobody wanted to date “crazy drunk Brandi” from the show.

About her time on RHOBH, Brandi confesses she misses being busy and she misses the cast trips.
Brandi also talked about the flak she received on social media for taking her boys to Sea World recently. “I didn’t realize it was a bad thing to go there. I guess it’s not good for the animals being in captivity but they were getting free fish and no sharks were trying to eat them. If I was an animal, I might want to be in captivity.” She explains, “all I wanted to do was swim with dolphins and not in the ocean because I’m afraid of sharks.” She also reveals that her boys complained the whole time and Brandi cried because she wanted it to be a fun night away. She admits that she gets frustrated that she can’t afford to do the extravagant vacations that the boys get to do with their dad. They are currently in Paris with them.
