A home renovation is a go-to story line on reality television shows- unfortunately. Usually it’s not a riveting story line, but it does happen during pretty much every season of every reality TV show.
Southern Charm cast member Chelsea Meissner just opened up about her home renovation project and teased her followers to “stay tuned.” Hopefully that just means she will be sharing more on social media and that this will not be a storyline on Southern Charm next season.
Chelsea shared a photo on Instagram and told her followers, “Six months ago today I embarked on an intense home renovation project. Not having a clue what I was doing, I clung to my best friend and talented designer, @kimspradlinwolfe She has been there every step of the way and has turned my 1960’s fixer-upper into my dream home.”

She concluded “I’ve been so overwhelmed by the kindness of friends, family and total strangers who have come along side me to pull it off. I CAN NOT wait to share my home transformation.. Stay tuned!” This is great news for fan favorite Chelsea, but let’s just hope this isn’t her primary storyline next season on Southern Charm. Or maybe she’ll love home reno so much that she’ll switch careers? What would happen to Shep’s hair then?
