The Real Housewives of New Jersey has just returned for Season 9. There’s still some lingering drama between Dolores Catania and Danielle Staub. Dolores isn’t ready to forgive and forget after Danielle claimed that Dolores made some controversial comments about Teresa Giudice last season. Danielle stated that Dolores said that Teresa “doesn’t care about anyone or anything more than money.” Ouch!
During an interview with Page Six, Dolores, when asked if she would still characterize Danielle as a scumbag, responded, “No…That’s a very harsh word.”
Dolores defended her choice of words, stating that, “She deserved for me to call her that, but it was in the moment.”

So how are Danielle and Dolores getting along today? It seems that Dolores feels some compassion for her cast mate Danielle, who walked down the aisle on May 5, 2018 with Marty Caffrey in the Bahamas. Unfortunately, the newlyweds hit some major bumps on the road to marital bliss. Danielle filed for divorce just months after saying “I Do.”
Dolores said, “Things are quiet right now…It’s always been up and down, but you know I felt bad for her.”
Dolores explained, “she’s been going through a lot of marriage trouble. So, I called her and I said, ‘I don’t want to know your business–I just wish you well and I hope you and the kids are okay.'”
That’s all well and good, but it doesn’t mean Danielle is in her good graces forever. Dolores explained, “Listen, I can move on from things until the next time she does something to piss me off.” That sounds like some foreshadowing for the season. Doesn’t it?
