Real Housewife of Orange County’s Gina Kirschenheiter is tired of the internet trolls. She is so upset that she spoke out about them on Instagram. Gina may be a newbie Housewife, but her personality and approach to her ongoing divorce from Matt Kirschenheiter has garnered a lot of attention.
Unfortunately, much of it has been unfavorable, both from her co-stars (I see you, Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador,) and fans. Finally, Gina has had enough, and she is clapping back at her haters. No, she did not clap back at Vicki and Shannon (yet), but she did come for the social media trolls.
Gina shared a screenshot of an insulting message from a “fan.” This person wrote, “Gina, you give New York women a bad name. I totally understand why your husband left you.” Ouch! Gina fired back on Instagram, and it was awesome!
She confessed “I was feeling like I made a mistake sharing my life…. I felt like crying.” But the positivity coming from her fans has given Gina strength.
The Orange County Housewife declared, “There is room for everyone without hate. I have the most amazing family, friends, and fans that honestly make the most amazing shield around me. I mean I’m talking Game of Thrones the wall sh*t.”

Why is Gina getting so many troll comments? For one thing, she’s not afraid to go up against the more senior cast members. Aside from that, people are giving her some criticism for her divorce- her extremely peaceful and unbelievably amicable divorce. Just imagine that- even the conflict-free splits receive criticism.
Even before Gina and Matt decided to split, Matt was living in his own apartment three hours away. Gina and her kids had never even stepped foot in it. Which, I must admit, is a bit unusual. Gina had her hands more than full while struggling to take care of her three kids alone while her Matt was living away in his mysterious apartment.
The new Housewife hasn’t even told her children about the divorce and has cautiously just dipped her toe into the dating pool. Perhaps the support of her fans will help keep her positive as she deals with all the changes in her life.
