Real Housewives of Dallas was a rodeo of drama this season, and I absolutely adored every second of the cray. Whether it’s LeeAnne Locken’s finger-knives and infinity dress or Cary Deuber’s flip-flopping in the name of truth serum, it’s been a great season.
Brandi Redmond’s attempts to prove she doesn’t have a drinking problem may, in fact, cause a drinking problem, but at least she’s having fun, right? I kid. She certainly wasn’t having a blast at Stephanie Hollman’s frat party on last week’s finale. Instead, the pink pooch princess and her condescending nod stepped into Brandi’s party girl role…and into the foam pit. Revisiting the pitfalls of Dallas society (to which she’d never fall victim!). Kameron Wescott even has some kind words for D’Andra Simmons. Color me a pastel shade of shocked!
Discussing her sophomore season on RHOD, Kameron begins her Bravo blog, “Wow guys! Can’t believe what a journey this has been for the past few months. I can’t thank everyone enough for all their love and support through this time. It is not easy putting your life and family on display to millions. I am finding some of the sweetest comments and those are what have helped me through this experience and have encouraged me to always be true to myself and my beliefs.”

Kameron recalls her sorority days as she praises her friend’s ability to throw a raging kegger. She writes, “Stephanie, this frat party is frat-tastic! It reminded me of how I should never have bothered to dress up as much as I did for college parties because you’re only going to get beer poured on you or get wet,” joking, “Why did I even get a blowout before I came to your frat party, Stephanie? The foam pit was a first…boy that was a true experience! I can now check that off my bucket list! What was really on my bucket list, though, was attending a party dressed as Cher. So appreciative, Stephanie, for allowing me to experience this!”
Reflecting on her journey, Kameron shares, “I have truly enjoyed getting to know everyone in our group more every day. We have had our ups and our downs…we have seen the crazies…and we have cried ourselves to sleep. I think I’m happy to say that I’ve had a great experience through all this. I’ve learned who I can trust, who I can rely on, and who I can cry on. LeeAnne was a constant rock for me during these past few months. I love you babe!”

Continuing the sweet sentiments, Kameron continues, Cary was always a constant friend, supporting me always and had good intentions for me. Stephanie was a breath of fresh air, and I’ve also enjoyed getting to know you so much more this year…we are now Monday workout buddies! Brandi, you braided my hair in Copenhagen when I was crying, when I was so upset, and I truly can’t thank you for that. Loved getting to know you more this year! D’Andra, you have challenged me in ways I’ve never been challenged. Life takes us in directions that sometimes are not expected.
Ending on a cheery note, Kameron asserts, “Hopefully things in the future will get better and we can communicate better with each other. After all is done and said, I’m lucky to know you all and have learned so much from each and every one of you! I’m walking away feeling confident in most of our friendships. I’m so lucky to say that. Cheers, ladies, and hope everyone has a fabulous PINK Holiday! P.S Everyone needs to wear more PINK!”
So, in conclusion: foam, friends, fuchsia.
