It’s still hard to figure out if the Vanderpump Rules cast work at SUR or if they just “work” at SUR when the cameras are rolling. Nevertheless, they do film the show there a lot. During last week’s episode, James Kennedy fat shamed Katie Maloney, and now everyone is on the warpath against him.
This show might as well be called “Everybody Hates James Kennedy.” At the very least, that would be a great title for tonight’s episode.
During tonight’s episode, Katie goes to Lisa Vanderpump with an “It’s James or me” ultimatum. Kristen Doute tried to pull this move on Lisa many seasons ago when she found out Ariana Madix kissed then-boyfriend Tom Sandoval in a Las Vegas pool. Will it work during tonight’s Vanderpump Rules episode? It just might. Katie has been a very reliable employee/cast member and James Kennedy has been… James Kennedy.
The Vanderpump Rules ladies (minus Scheana Marie) confront James’ girlfriend Raquel Leviss about his latest outburst. She insists, “He doesn’t do that to me at all.. Unless he’s been drinking too, too, too much.” Oh. That doesn’t sound ideal.
Raquel also claims, “I feel like you guys don’t see the James that I see. The James that I see treats me like a queen.” Unless he’s been “drinking too, too, too much,” right? Katie’s husband Tom Schwartz even confronts James about the comments.

Just like last year, the cast celebrates [Brian] Carter and Peter Madrigal’s birthday. However, there’s a major change on the horizon for Vanderpump Rules birthday celebrations. Stassi Schroeder and Ariana are getting along so well that they want to do a joint birthday party. That sounds like a fun time to me, as a viewer, who can only “attend” from my couch at home. However, Scheana is not too happy about Stassi and Ariana’s burgeoning friendship.
Scheana can’t help wondering, “Is Stassi talking shit about me to Ariana? Are they getting really close? Am I on the outs?” Oh, Scheana.

In other news, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright want to start their own beer cheese company, because why not? Aren’t they busy enough planning their wedding?
