Pics or it didn’t happen, right? A lot of people live life by that mantra. It makes sense in many circumstances. However, I just didn’t think it applied to hospital visits. Apparently, it does though. Or at least it does for Shannon Beador. She kept her social media followers very informed.
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member shared a photo from her recent emergency room visit. Shannon’s fans are so invested in her life because she’s so open. Her haters are over her because she’s so open. Is sharing a photo from the hospital emergency room a new social media trend? It just might be.
Shannon posted, “At ER with horrible pain in my ribs. Getting tests. Everyone so nice @hoaghealth but not a hospital fan.” Who is a “hospital fan”? No one wants to be hurt or injured.

Shannon revealed, “No blood clot and all is good. Heading home with an antibiotic. Thank you to so many of you for the well wishes. It’s overwhelming and kind. #iamblessed.”
One of the cool things about social media is that you can connect with people that you wouldn’t have a chance to talk to otherwise. There are plenty of positive things that can come from it. Sure, Shannon received plenty of well wishes from her followers. But why post live from the emergency room? Is that a little much? Or am I just behind on the times? Do her followers really want to be super informed? I just don’t get it.
