It looks like another 90 Day Fiance Season 6 couple is having problems. And the most unlikely duo too. Jonathan Rivera and Fernanda Flores kept a low profile on social media, especially about their relationship. There certainly wasn’t any signs of conflict. Now both sides are hinting at a separation, though there is no clear indication of what the outcome is.
Jonathan seems ready to share what happened. He has been divulging bits and pieces of information on his Instagram. Jonathan posted a family picture on Tuesday. He was posing with his mother Ceci for New Year’s Eve. On the show, fans saw Jonathan trying to mend fences with his mother after they had grown apart. Noticeably absent was his new wife, Fernanda.
Most comments expressed concern for the couple and why they were spending their first holidays apart as husband and wife. Jonathan explained Fernanda’s whereabouts, “she’s in Houston. She wanted to pursue a modeling career in Chicago. Decided to leave and realized she couldn’t do it on her own. She said MANY things that you can’t take back that I won’t mention.”
Jonathan went into more detail, “Eventually she hated where we lived. I tried many time to give her everything she ever wanted but it wasn’t enough. She decided to leave..left me on the airplane in Chicago amongst many other things. I decided to spend the rest of the time with my family. When she realized her lifestyle was going to be different she wanted to apologize and asked me to forgive her. I haven’t.”
Jonathan described his breaking point in another response, “she refused the help and the friends and opportunities I tried to provide for her. You can only give so much until you start giving up the things you love and it still means nothing.”
Fernanda hasn’t said much on her social media as of yet. She did delete then repost pictures of her and Jonathan. In one post, a wedding photo, she wrote, “I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honour you all the days of my life” -He said.”

Jonathan expressed his distaste for social media drama. That’s a topic where a decade age difference apparently does cause problems. He wrote, “I am not one for drama, I prefer to remain private but I’m not ok with my spouse airing our laundry to get my attention. Deleting me, deleting or pictures then putting them back. I mean come on.”
So where are Jonathan and Fernanda in their relationship? There wasn’t a definite answer. One fan asked if Fernanda had filed for divorce, Jonathan did not answer. In a vague way he seemed to indicate they were through, “if you think 2.5 years is giving up quickly then yes. You don’t know the details. ”
Of course us fans would LOVE to know the details. Unfortunately, the season reunion was already filmed so if any new information emerges, it will be at the discretion of the couple.
