Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks is moving on in the New Year with a new man. Phaedra is garnering lots of attention lately because “OG”Housewife (and former enemy) NeNe Leakes wants Phaedra to once again clutch a peach as an Atlanta Housewife. One thing is for sure –we need some drama back on RHOA, and Phaedra, who is an attorney, funeral director, and thong-enthusiast, is just the shady lady to bring it!
Phaedra was fired from the show following Season 9 because she spread a vile rumor that Kandi Burruss, and her husband, Todd Tucker, wanted to drug and sexually assault co-star Porsha Williams. Phaedra absolutely deserved to be fired. But right now, she is moving on from the past, at least as far as her love life is concerned.
Phaedra is dating Chicago WGCI-FM radio personality Tone Kapone, and he confirmed the news during his show on January 2. “And yes, me and Phaedra are dating. See, I told everybody. Now, can we just all just go back to our regular lives?” Tone, whose real name is Anthony Mays, asked. I don’t think that will happen anytime soon, Tone. Phaedra also made the news Instagram official on January 1 by posting a photo of her and her new boyfriend and captioning it “2019 we are ready.”

According to a January US Weekly article, a source dished that the duo is “definitely dating and very happy.” Phaedra’s love life has certainly been tumultuous. She filed for divorce from her husband, Apollo Nida, in October of 2014. Apollo is currently serving an eight-year prison sentence for identity theft and bank fraud. Apollo kept appealing the divorce, and finally, a settlement was reached in 2017, much to Phaedra’s relief.
Phaedra told US in November, “Apollo and I started dating in high school and now I’m in my early 40s, so it was time to go. That’s almost a lifetime.” Phaedra added, “Thank God it’s over, but thank God it happened because we have two beautiful kids.” Phaedra and Apollo are parents to sons Ayden and Dylan. Perhaps this new chapter in Phaedra’s life would be a great story-line for an RHOA return?
