The Real Housewives of New Jersey Cabo trip was everything I wanted and more. There was high humidity and high drama. Margaret Josephs told Jennifer Aydin that her lip liner reminded her of “a monkey’s asshole.” Then, she upped the ante by declaring that Jennifer’s husband sleeps in the pool house and in his girlfriend’s bed. As the viewers know, she took this back immediately, but Jennifer’s reaction gave us some great drama.

Later, Danielle Staub had the nerve to tell Margaret that her kids don’t want to be around her. That’s something Marty Caffrey’s kids could relate to, Danielle. Then, The Marge retaliated by picking up Dolores Catania’s glass of red wine and dumping it on her. Somehow, this all lead to Jennifer smashing a glass and coming at Melissa Gorga with a makeshift shank. So much for this being a fun, booze-filled trip after months of Teresa Giudice’s fitness competition dieting.

The Cabo trip was a gift to the fans. The drama just kept on coming. Margaret, Dolores, Melissa, Jackie Goldschneider, and the viewers just couldn’t understand Teresa’s blind loyalty to Danielle. Did she not hear Danielle taunting Margaret about her children? Aren’t husbands and kids supposed to be off limit with the Garden State ladies? Or does that only apply to certain Housewives?

Melissa and Teresa even had a nighttime sit down about Teresa’s growing animosity toward Margaret. What was Teresa thinking this whole time? Did Danielle manage to hypnotize her into taking her side? Why is Teresa the MVP, captain, and sole member of #TeamDanielle? Is Danielle blackmailing her or something? This seriously makes no sense.

Even with all of that drama, it does seem like the New Jersey Housewives actually did have some fun during their “vacation.” All of the cast members shared photos from the club (which I would have loved to see on TV). They lounged by the pool. And, of course, they showed off their bikini bodies. What’s the point of working out if you can’t post thirst trap photos on Instagram, right?
