It’s hard to imagine The Real Housewives of Orange County without Vicki Gunvalson. The OG of the OC has been a focal point of the show for 13 seasons. Vicki’s been a part of epic feuds with costars including Tamra Judge and Kelly Dodd. Her totally not fabricated personal storylines have been memorable as well. From allegedly being in on a cancer scam to the painful death of her mother, Vicki has given us a lot. Would the OC franchise even survive without Vicki at the forefront?
Things were not looking good for Vicki’s chances of returning following the Season 13 reunion. Vicki accused Kelly of using cocaine, and cougar Kelly was NOT having it. It seemed as if Kelly would not return to the series if Vicki was still on board. Kelly has been an explosive lightning rod for Orange County. Losing her could be detrimental. On the other hand, Vicki has always given the show SO MUCH too. Filming the for the next season has been underway for a bit now, but is Vicki shooting with the other ladies?
Woo-hoo! Get ready to whoop it up because it doesn’t look like Vicki is going anywhere. Our deepest apologies if you were hoping for Vicki to be fired or demoted. We’re going to be seeing a lot more of the insurance queen next season.
Vicki confirmed her return for Season 14 with an Instagram video. She sucked up to thanked the production company behind the show in the video. She declared, “thanks Evolution for my flowers. First day of filming is done.” Vicki announced her return in the most extra way possible. However, we’re excited to see the fallout of her issues with Kelly.
It was previously reported that the season had begun filming. The only person not filming was Vicki. Why the holdout? She claimed she was in negotiations, but negotiations for what? More screen time? More money? Did she want Kelly or the new girls gone?
In a video that originally appeared on her Instagram Story, Kelly Vicki’s status on the show. Sitting alongside Gina Kirschenheiter, Kelly said, “We did a truffle hunt today. Some of us, our friends, some are pigs. I don’t want to confirm nor deny if someone’s a friend of not, but you have to watch and see because it’s good. It’s a good hunt.”

Wait, so is Vicki demoted? CALL US CONFUSED. In the same video, Kelly appears to refer to Vicki as a pig numerous times. Slade Smiley would be proud. Kelly says, “Amongst pigs. You can’t put lipstick on a pig. A pig is a pig.” The Big Bad Wolf Kelly just blew Ms. Piggy’s Vicki’s house down. This isn’t even the first time that Kelly referred to Vicki as a pig.
In addition to all of THAT, it looks like there is already major drama between Vicki and Kelly. In a second video originally posted to her Instagram story, Kelly previewed a major incident on “set.” Kelly revealed, “We just filmed right now at Tamra’s house. So, you’re gonna see this. We did an all cast event and Vicki was chasing after me. I don’t want to have to have anything to do with her. I can’t stand her.”
Without a doubt, Vicki is making it clear to everyone that she is very much back in action. After all the rumors, she’s BAAAAACK. Somehow she managed to secure her spot again. LET THE SPECULATION BEGIN HOW SHE PULLED THIS OFF. Did she take a pay cut? Is she a full-time cast member?
