Denise Richards may be new to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but she’s no stranger to drama. As soon as she was announced as a cast member, her questionable personal past was a MAJOR topic of conversation. A lot of the buzz was about her ex-husband. Charlie Sheen is one of the most polarizing celebrities. Who wouldn’t want to see him chatting it up with Lisa Vanderpump or Erika Jayne? Oh, the drama!
While it would be cool to see someone with genuine tiger’s blood on the show, it’s not looking likely. There was no indication of the former Two and a Half Men star in the Season 9 trailer. Trailers don’t show everything so anything is possible! Right? After all, the mother of his children is a focal point of the new season. Plus, Charlie isn’t typically someone to shy away from the limelight. All of his over the top antics would fit in perfectly in the 90210. Luckily for fans, Charlie is setting the record straight on if he’ll make a cameo this season, other than his appearance via speakerphone during the last episode.
During an interview with Extra, Charlie discussed his Real Housewives of Beverly Hills status. Charlie said, “You’re gonna see the girls… I don’t appear on shows I don’t watch.” THIS IS SO DISAPPOINTING. #Losing. If Denise is brought back next season we want to see Charlie, especially if Denise keeps mentioning him
Charlie has given pop culture so many iconic moments, but unfortunately, Housewives won’t be one of them. Considering that Denise is friends with Brandi Glanville, we were low key hoping she and Charlie would cross paths. Imagine the wine throwing fireworks?
Despite not appearing on camera this season, Charlie is still very much a topic of conversation. In the premiere alone both Lisa Rinna and Teddi Mellencamp gave us cringe-worthy Charlie related moments! One of those moments was so ew. Nope, not the feet. Not ever.
We are still traumatized from the scene of Charlie licking Rinna’s toes. Somehow it was Teddi’s faux pas that was even worse though! She said #Winning while sitting right next to Denise. The un accountability coach ACTUALLY said the infamous Charlie Sheen phrase right next to his ex. The only thing winning about that moment was how cool Denise played it off. We’re still hiding under our blanket!

Another fun Charlie Sheen tie-in that happened during the first Season 9 episode had to do with Kyle Richards. She revealed in the episode that he was friends with her ex and she didn’t seem too impressed by that. She implied that perhaps Charlie wasn’t the best influence on her former beau. Uh oh. Watch out Charlie, Beverly Hills is Kyle’s town. All nine of her boring and unoriginal taglines say so!
It’s clear that although we won’t see Charlie this season, his presence is felt in a big way. We know that Denise can deliver drama off the show, but time will tell if she can provide it without Charlie. This is an explosive season, and we would hate for Denise to get lost like Dorit’s dog in the shuffle. We’re still holding out hope that he’ll appear somewhere down the line.
Charlie if you’re reading this, please give us what we need. At least let Andy Cohen interview you. We’d love a totally amazing incoherent Watch What Happens Live interview! We don’t want to beg, but please? Pretty please with a Beverly Hills diamond on top? It’s what the people deserve. You can’t give us Dorit Kemsley and not Charlie. Trade?
