Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes threw some punches at the restaurateur, tea sipping, TomTom minding Lisa Vanderpump.
Is there not enough drama in their own shows that they have to cross the aisle and fight with other housewives? Apparently so and Lisa is not about to let these accusations slide.
According to an interview with from People, Lisa addressed the rumor that she stole the idea of PUMP from NeNe Leakes.
“It’s the first thing I’ve heard about it in six years, so it’s been a surprise.” She added, “It’s my 35th restaurant.” As fans of the show know, Lisa is the owner of SUR, Villa Blanca, PUMP and TomTom.
So what is Lisa talking about? NeNe stated that SHE was the one who pointed the property out to Lisa when she was considering opening her own bar in West Hollywood.
“She said, ‘Oh darling, darling, it’s a piece of crap and they’re charging so much for it, darling,” NeNe explained during Jenny McCarthy’s radio show, “She talked me off of it and then went and got it.”
Lisa’s defense? “It’s from the same landlord as the landlord at SUR,” she explained to People, “It’s 200 yards down the road. I didn’t really need anyone to point it out to me, but thanks anyway.”
And to add fuel to the fire, fellow RHOBH star Erika Jayne added her two cents to the drama. How you ask? She sided with NeNe.
“NeNe don’t lie,” Erika so eloquently stated to Us Weekly.”NeNe can take damn good care of herself.” Which sounds to me like she is taking NeNe’s side.
Why is Erika even getting involved in this squabble when HRH of fabulous swans and white ponies is hardly losing sleep over it?

I have nothing against Erika, except for that latex bitch Barbie look she had going on in Germany. I have nothing against NeNe. However, I find it VERY hard to believe that Lisa stole any idea from NeNe.
Opening restaurants is what Lisa did pre-housewife fame. This isn’t a new venture for her now that she’s come into fame through a reality show. Maybe NeNe and Erika are just trying to stir the pot to stay relevant on their shows.
So, I will leave us with Lisa’s tagline from this season, “You can stab me in the back, but whilst you’re there, kiss my ass.”
