OK-who wants to immediately vacation at Baha Mar in the Bahamas? I do! The resort is the kind of place where you can swim, golf, see baby flamingos and luxuriate in suites bigger than your own house. And of course, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couldn’t visit such a beautiful place without leaving their designer mark upon it.
Accusations of half-truths, bad intentions and revenge are on the menu at the resort courtesy of Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Dorit Kemsley. With claims of Lisa Vanderpump being the evil chef who serves up manipulation stew. And stirring the pot to make sure that everything bubbles to the surface is none other than sous chef Lisa Rinna. Although she laid low last season, the Chef of Instigation is back with a vengeance. And making sure she is front and center in the drama of Dog Gate.
In her Bravo blog, Rinna shares her opinion about Dog Gate. She starts out by saying, “I want to point out that none of this would be happening had Dorit just followed the contract and taken the dog back the way she was supposed to.” Sounds reasonable so far.
Rinna writes regarding Dorit and dog Lucy that, “The dog was aggressive with her kids and she wanted the dog out. I understand that Mama Bear mentality of protecting your kids before anything else.” And don’t forget being Mama Bear to Harry Hamlin. We ALL remember what happened in Amsterdam when Kim Richards hinted that Harry might not be the dream spouse Rinna claims he is. Mama Bear attacked. With a wine glass!
And when Mama Bears don’t have anyone to attack, they apparently relish in other people’s drama. Rinna states, “Some may say this was just enough of a misstep to leave a drop of blood in the water that could be sniffed out from a mile away…And you bet it was sniffed out.” Mrs. Hamlin apparently has a keen sense of smell, as she paddles her way to this drama faster than Michael Phelps.

And Rinna doesn’t stop paddling there. She revisits Housewife history by claiming, “But in this familiar scenario, there is a new cast of players being pitted against one another, and it feels very, very familiar. This is why I am so passionate about this situation. Similar to what Teddi is facing today, three years ago I had the same exact feelings and an uphill battle to face.”
Ding, ding, ding! There, you have it. Rinna is still having flashbacks of Season 6 when she insinuated that Yolanda Hadid had Munchausen Syndrome. And then claimed that LVP had encouraged her to repeat the gossip to shed a bad light on Yolanda. Rinna took a hit on social media during this time and was branded as being an insensitive gossip. Well, she’s been called worse!
Rinna goes on to share, “To be honest, it’s incredibly frustrating to watch it play out in front of me, and I can see exactly how this setup will go. I have painfully lived it already, and I don’t want to see Teddi used as a pawn.” I may be naïve here, but it seems to me that this is just the moment that Rinna has been waiting three years for. Payback to LVP. With Rinna using Teddi as her very own pawn.

As a noted humanitarian, Rinna apparently believes that it is her role to exact justice in the world. She goes on to say, “If I feel like I can help shed light on what is happening, you better believe I will do that.” Not to mention making herself front and center in the situation!
Rinna concludes her blog with, “Somebody once said they wished I was more engaged in the group…Careful what you wish for.” As LVP said that to Rinna last year in Berlin, it is clear that boring Lisa Rinna has been put to bed. And attention seeking Lisa Rinna has awoken from her slumber.
