After much speculation, it’s officially official. Porsha Williams has her own spin-off show. After a camera crew was spotted at Porsha’s baby shower, it seemed pretty obvious. But now, she has confirmed it. The special will document the tail end of Porsha’s pregnancy and the birth of her daughter Pilar Jhena.
Presumably, there will be a plethora of hot dogs involved as well. Or at the very least, her fiancé (hot dog entrepreneur) Dennis McKinley will get more screen time. It will be interesting to see their relationship away without the meddling from Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members… cough cough Kandi Burruss.
Porsha shared the news on her Instagram page. Porsha told her followers, “Ayeee. You asked @BravoTv answered!! ‘Porsha’s Having A Baby’ Special Premieres April 28 Sun 8/7c After #Rhoa 3Part reunion!”
Porsha did not specify if the special is a one-time thing or if there will be multiple episodes. However, she’s the only one who has been consistently entertaining this season on Real Housewives of Atlanta. If anyone has earned this special, it’s Porsha. Until NeNe Leakes kicked Porsha and Kandi out of her closet, Porsha’s life was the only entertaining aspect of the season.

She had people cracking up all season long with her push for the proposal. The viewers couldn’t help rooting for Porsha when she finally got pregnant. We watched her get engaged, make hot dogs, eat pickles, and survive walking into NeNe’s closet. She really does deserve this spin-off special.
Even Dennis posted about the news on his own Instagram page. Dennis wrote, “So happy for @porsha4real you guys get to experience a piece of the day to day leading up to @pilarjhena day!” Aaaww how cute.
I’m sure NeNe is pissed off about this. Then again, she is mad about any person getting even a glimmer of shine. And this has me wondering, is a wedding special next? Kandi had a wedding special. NeNe did too. So, it’s not out of left field to expect the same for Porsha in the future.
