Okay you guys, let’s join hands and take a deep, cleansing breath. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is talking about the best thing that ever happened in her life #puppygate again. Because, of course, she is. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been paramount in this season’s main storyline, thanks to Dorit Kemsley. If it hadn’t been for Dorit’s incompetence in following directions, where would this season be?
As far as I’m concerned, Teddi should be sending Dorit flowers every single day, maybe the other ladies should too. No one wants to talk about anything but poor Lucy Lucy Apple Juice. You know, because then they might have to address the multiple lawsuits against their husbands. It’s easier to vilify mind control expert Lisa Vanderpump, who was grieving over the loss of her brother and holding down four restaurants. Alas, all good things must come to an end, and now we shall dive into the aftermath of hashtagpuppygate.
The horse might be dead and buried, but we are still seeing Dorit’s dog drama play out on RHOBH. As a central figure in the scandal, Teddi has had a lot to say about the (ALLEGED) organized plan of deceit at the hands of LVP. She tells Us Weekly, “Do you see how I am?! I’m, like, checked out,” she said. “And I think in the last episode I was very clear and there’s people that are understanding what I’m saying and some that aren’t. I made mistakes and I apologized for them.”
Sure, Teddi made mistakes. We all do. But would Teddi have copped to any of these mistakes if she hadn’t been stone cold busted? In the guidelines for being an accountability coach, (hang on, are there guidelines to being an accountability coach?) does it list being a gossip queen and then accusing others instead of accepting responsibility for your actions? The narrative has been a lot of, “Yeah I did this but it was someone else’s fault”…
When LVP retweeted a suggestion that the whole cast be fired, Teddi shared her thoughts. “You know, I think everyone has their own ways of handling it. Last year, when I wasn’t getting along with some of the ladies, and fans were being rude to the other ladies, I actually made a stand and said, ‘Hey guys. Thank you for the support, but I don’t need that.’ Like, I don’t need that level of hate. She’s taking the other route, retweeting nasty things.”

Kyle Richards and her new teeth actually took a screenshot of LVP’s retweet and posted it to her own social media. My guess is Kyle has lots of extra time since American Woman has been canceled and her fashionable stores have closed. Maybe use this opportunity to teach the rest of your kids how a washing machine works, eh?
Teddi continued, “Yes, I get having your own opinions and having your favorites, and I think that makes sense, but, like, there’s a line. Remember that we’re real human beings. They don’t care. And you know what, for the most part, I’m OK with it. Unless it involves my kids or really terrible things about me. It’s like, let’s take a breath here. It’s a television show.”
Now that #puppygate is winding down, Lucy is doing great, Lisa V. might be working on a new show revolving around the scene of the crime Vanderpump Dogs. “I mean, the way I feel about it, if it’s for a spinoff, you know, it is what it is,” Teddi explained. “To me, great, good for her, but, it’s more just… it’s been a lot of drama this season, [so] we’re just ready to move on from [PuppyGate],” Teddi summarizes.

After the dust has settled, Teddi says “it’s really day by day” in dealing with the ramifications of the dog debacle. “We haven’t even shot the reunion yet! We just really kind of have to figure it out.” Of course, now we know there is speculation on Lisa attending the reunion at all.
The viewers are ready to move on too, Teddi. I promise. Hey ,I have a great idea! How about you group text Kyle, Dorit, and Erika Girardi and ask them how their husbands are doing? Ask Erika if Big Daddy Tom Girardi is going to pay back that $15 million. Find out if PK Kemsley is in danger of having his legs broken in the Las Vegas desert. Oh, and see if Mauricio Umansky has any cool listings in Malibu. Your job is not done, Teddi!
