Feigning pregnancy is the oldest April Fool’s Day trick in the book. However, this is 2019. That’s not gonna fly anymore. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville pretended that she was pregnant on April Fool’s Day.
Apparently, the backlash was so much that Brandi actually decided to remove the post. That’s actually more shocking than Brandi posting it in the first place. Brandi is infamous for not caring about what people think. She continues to cross the line anyway. The comments section must have got pretty heated.
Even though Brandi deleted the Instagram post announcing her fake pregnancy, a tweet with a link to the old Instagram post is still on her Twitter. It even shows the words from her now-deleted Instagram caption. Brandi “joked,” “5 weeks now third times a charm… and y’all thought all of my eggs were scrambled.”
Now that would be a pretty shocking story since Brandi has been tight-lipped about her love life these days. Then again, she could have had a baby on her own via insemination. Anything is possible! Especially with today’s modern medicine. Well, no one was buying what Brandi was selling and immediately called her out.
Just to clarify, it’s actually not true. There is no Brandi 2.0 on the way. She eventually tweeted, “I deleted my April fools joke on IG BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE TO FUCKING SENSITIVE & I don’t feel like fighting today.” But apparently, a lot of other people did feel like fighting. And they left comments on her posts, of course.

One of her followers responded, “Not cool if a AF joke. I lost two babies. Sorry, but could you not have been a little more original or creative.” In contrast, another follower wrote, “Don’t listen to the people who simply have feelings and project them on to you. I have lost 8 babies. I still understand it’s a joke and not a personal attack.”
A different Twitter user shared, “I don’t understand if this is your idea of a joke!! I struggled to conceive and required IVF. If you have any common sense you would realize the struggles of many many women! Completely unacceptable even from you.”
One Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fan actually responded with a GIF of Brandi throwing wine. Another person sent Brandi a picture with the text “don’t be an asshole.”
I would say that didn’t go well, but that’s a major understatement. No wonder she deleted the original post.
