Some Real Housewives earn their pay more than others, in my opinion. There are ladies who deserve it for being clever and funny, like Shannon Beador. Others earn their dollars by living a fabulous life of extravagance, like former OC Housewife Heather Dubrow. But the biggest bang for the buck amongst Housewives comes from their ability to stir up drama. And few Housewives from any franchise have done it better (or worse!) than Tamra Judge of the Real Housewives of Orange County.
Now going into her twelfth season as a Housewife, viewers have seen it all with Tamra. An ugly divorce and custody battle. Remarriage. Financial problems. Bitter feuds with the likes of Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino. Finding Jesus. Multiple cosmetic procedures. And throwing wine in Jeana Keough’s face. You get the picture! Now, Tamra has hinted that it might be time to turn in her orange and become a regular citizen again.
Tamra recently answered some questions in an Instagram Q&A, according to an article in OK! Magazine. An Instagram poster asked Tamra if she and hubby Eddie Judge would do a spinoff show about their business, Cut Fitness. Tamra answered, “No, I’ve been on TV for 12 years & it might be time to go back to living a simple life.”
OK-does anyone really believe that? Tamra walking away from reality fame to enjoy a simpler life? I think it is about as likely as Shannon no longer talking about her divorce. Or Kelly Dodd behaving in public settings. Which means not very likely. Tamra has never been shy about her love of the spotlight, so it seems far-fetched to think she would “walk away” from the show. Unless she was shown the door!
Maybe the question was the culprit in Tamra’s answer about a Cut Fitness reality show. A show about Cut Fitness doesn’t sound very exciting. Or marketable. I bet the thought about such a show has run through Tamra’s mind, but even she must know viewers would be scarce. Watching Tamra lead a fitness class isn’t even very interesting for a scene on the Real Housewives of Orange County.
So, what might Tamra do if she was no longer a Housewife? One of Tamra’s fans (yes, they apparently exist!), asked her if she was still a realtor and she replied, “Yes my license recently expired and I’m renewing it now. Never know when I’ll need it again.”

Can you really be a realtor without a license? Probably not, but Tamra seems to think so! Maybe if she went back to real estate she could find a home for Shannon so she doesn’t have to live in that expensive rental anymore. Or place Gina Kirschenheiter in a bigger, swankier bachelorette casita. Or finally, sell the home Vicki Gunvalson has tried to unload off and on over the years.
Knowing Tamra, her tease about retiring from being a Housewife is probably just for attention seeking. She squeezes her orange so tightly she could make a pitcher of mimosas from it! Someday, of course, as all good things must come to an end, Tamra will no longer be a Real Housewife-just a regular Orange County Housewife. And when that happens, I envision Tamra standing by the organic tangerine display in her local grocery store, asking shoppers if they know who she used to be.
