Don’t you miss 90 Day Fiance? Each episode is guaranteed to bring something strange, embarrassing, awkward and mind-boggling. And that is just before the first commercial break! Arguably, the couple who brought the most amusing and shocking moments last season were Colt Johnson and Larissa Dos Santos Lima. And fortunately for viewers, we were introduced to Colt’s reality television gold mother, Debbie Johnson!
In a whirlwind season, we saw Colt and Larissa reunited in Las Vegas to marry. And we watched them fight and make up. Again and again. Seemingly disagreeing on everything. Yet, somehow the odd couple managed to make it down the aisle-Larissa in a dress from Goodwill and Colt in, well, something dapper from the Colt Collection. And now, less than a year after these two love birds took their sacred vows, they are finalizing their divorce.
In an E! News exclusive, Shawanna L. Johnson, who is Colt’s attorney, states, “Colt Johnson and Larissa Dos Santos Lima have settled their divorce. The motion has been taken off the calendar and an agreement has been reached. Lawyers are in the process of finalizing the written stipulation to sign and submit to the judge.”
Colt filed for divorce from Larissa in January, after her third arrest for domestic violence since coming to America. The couple was married last June, which means their marriage lasted less time than it takes for a package to arrive through the US Postal Service. But longer than it takes for either one of them to hit the send button on an attention-seeking social media post.
Surprisingly, the volatile couple has seemed to have finally arrived at a genuine truce. Colt’s attorney said, “The matter was settled amicably between the parties and each party will walk away and bear their own fees and costs. The motion for temporary orders and gag order was vacated today by agreement of the attorneys in anticipation of submitting the final settlement and order to the judge.”

And, apparently, Colt has no hard feelings. His attorney further shared with E! News, “He wishes Larissa the best in her future endeavors.” I assume that Larissa’s future endeavors will include Instagram selfies, drama, and social media pleas. And a possible trip back to Brazil if her immigration status changes due to her divorce and legal issues.
So, the saga between Colt and Larissa might be done for now. Until the upcoming season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, as filming began before their marriage tanked. It will be interesting to see how the unraveling of their marriage plays out on camera-and yes, I know that is wrong! Unfortunately, their split opens up the opportunity for Ashley Martson and Jay Smith to promote themselves as the couple who are still fighting for their marriage. As if the two needed any more avenues for self-promotion!
No details so far on if there were any other terms to the divorce. Such as, will Larissa retain VIP slot privileges at the Johnson Home Casino? Does Colt own all rights to his 2002 Kia? Will Larissa get scheduled visitation with Mother Debbie? If any sex tapes are “leaked,” will Colt and Larissa split the proceeds? Let’s hope that last scenario never comes to fruition!

What’s next for Larissa and Colt? Who knows, but it is unlikely either will go away any time soon. I am sure that if any future television or publicity opportunities come their way, we will be seeing more of them than we might like. Reality television show casting staff-Colt and Larissa are now available for future projects! Dignity and fees negotiable.
