Jax Taylor & Brittany Cartwright Dish On Their Issues With James Kennedy

They could very easily change the name of Vanderpump Rules to Everybody Hates James. Oh, just kidding, the cast doesn’t want him to get any more attention than he already does. Ironically, the constant James Kennedy bashing just gets him more attention.

After getting disinvited from the cast trip to Mexico, James and his girlfriend Raquel Leviss invited cast members to a puppy pawty. Yes, that’s actually how they spelled it. It was actually a puppy shower, for a dog that’s already been born. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright rejected Raquel’s invite to her face. And it was so awkward. Poor Raquel. No one wants to film with her go to her party.

On a recent Watch What Happens Live episode, Andy Cohen told Jax and Brittany, “That was very sad watching her go around inviting people to the party.”

Jax wondered, “Did no one try to stop her before she thought of this idea?” Nope. Brittany reminded her man, “Jax, you know how bad I felt that day.”

Andy told Brittany, “You’re the nicest one on the show. I said it at the reunion.” Jax chimed in with, “Hands down.”

Brittany declared, “Raquel is very nice to me. I have no issues with her.” Jax even referred to her a “sweet girl,” which is a lot nicer than saying she’s as dumb as a box of rocks like he did on the show.

Still, that wasn’t the only invitation snubbed during that episode. Scheana Marie took it upon herself to let Billie Lee know she was not invited to Jax and Brittany’s engagement party because she “reminds” them of James. Why would she be invited? Does she have relationships with Jax or Brittany? Other than being on the same show, do they actually interact?

Jax began to explain why Billie did not make the cut. He said, “This is my family. I have people coming in from all over and I have to make sure [Brittany’s] happy. I didn’t even have my mother there.” Brittany clarified, “It was not about James.”

Andy admitted, “It seems like Scheana misrepresented it.” This prompted Brittany to reveal, “She definitely did. Scheana apologized to me for that. Also, me and Billie have also talked about it. She understands.” And, of course, they emphasized that James will not be invited to their wedding. We know.

Later, a caller asked Brittany why it’s easier for her to forgive Jax over James even though they do a lot of the same things. Isn’t this obvious? She’s in a relationship with Jax. Case closed.

Still, Brittany decided to explain it. She said, “The reason is that I love Jax and I have a huge relationship and everything with him. I know James for being one of my very best friend’s ex-boyfriends. So, we never really had that bond. We never created a friendship. Nothing like that. We worked every now and then together at SUR. I was very nice to him all the time and he’s disrespected me many times.” Then, Jax teased, “Watch the reunion.” We will, Jax.

On a happier note, Jax and Brittany were asked if Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark will make it as a couple? Brittany said, “I know they’ve had their hard times, but Stassi is the happiest I have ever seen her. Beau is amazing for her. They are great together. I couldn’t be happier. I think they’re gonna go all the way.” Jax just said, “I love Beau.” Same, Jax. Same, same, same.
