Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou have taken viewers up multiple dead ends during their time onscreen. This is one 90 Day Fiance relationship that has completely stalled. After participating for multiple seasons, it doesn’t seem that Azan and Nicole are any closer to getting hitched.
Azan’s K-1 visa was denied. Then they called off their wedding at the end of the last 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Nicole moved to Morocco for six months and returned to the US still unmarried. What exactly is going on with these two? And why do fans need to be emotionally invested for another season?
Nicole was asked why she called off the wedding on Instagram Story Q and A and InTouch Weekly shared her response in an article. A fan wrote, “why didn’t you guys actually get married when you were supposed to?” Her answer was that it was, “too much pressure. Not enough time or money. You can’t rush this kind of stuff. Do it in the right moment and it wasn’t the right moment yet.”
True. And why not milk a few more seasons out of TLC first? But Nicole still defends their relationship as genuine. She said, “Azan is a loving and caring man. He’s a kind-hearted person who is very family oriented. I love everything about him.”

Nicole described how she and Azan stay connected despite the distance. She said, “we text
everyday. Call at least once a day. Try to video chat a couple times a week.”
So what’s next for these two? Nicole has plans to head back to Morocco this year. She posted a message for Azan on her Instagram saying, “I’ll see you in 2019 baby.” Maybe this is their year? Nicole seems to think so. Here’s what she wrote on New Year’s Eve, “2019 we’re ready for you and all the amazing moments and memories we’ll make again. Who knows what this year has in store for us.”
