The Real Housewives of Potomac are back next month for what promises to be a wild ride! Every season of Potomac has surpassed the previous. If the trailer is any indication, we are in for a five star season. Karen Huger has been front and center for all the drama over the last three years. The Grand Dame never fails to deliver when the spotlight is on her.
Karen has been through A LOT over three seasons. She navigated her parent’s painful fight against dimentia and Alzheimer’s disease. Also, who could forget the press conference she held last season? Evading questions about your financial situation at your own press conference isn’t a cute look. However, it looks like this season we are in for the most dramatic season yet.
Thankfully for Potomac fans, Bravo’s The Daily Dish has ALL the tea on Karen’s interview with Good Morning Washington. SPOILER: It’s piping hot.
In the interview Karen said, “I can tell you a lot of the lies from the past will be revealed, a long time coming, so yay, yay, yay, yay. Super happy about that.” Perhaps alluding to the rampant rumors regarding Michael Darby’s sexuality?
It seems that in the midst of lies coming to light, forgiveness and authenticity are also at the forefront. Karen further teased saying, A lot of love, a lot of forgiveness, a lot of fighting, because we’re girls, we’re strong women, but we bring it this season because we’re just being authentically ourselves.”

Karen previewed Katie’s return saying, “She brings the fireworks. Katie is bringing Katie, authentically Katie. What can I say? You’ve got to stay tuned for Katie Rost, OK? Bloop.

One of the most exciting parts of every Real Housewives season is the epic cast trip. According to Karen, this year’s trip is full of the juicy drama we love. “It’s hot, it’s sweaty, and we throw down quite a bit in the lobby. I wonder if Monique Samuels is giving us another umbrella moment.
However, some personal drama appears to be on the horizon for Karen as well. The death of her parents is clearly taking a toll, but she has immersed herself into professional projects. “I am holding up as well as can be expected. I threw myself into the project, which my mother, by the way, was very much an instrumental part of because I created La’Dame fragrance for my mom.”
We definitely wish Karen love and light as she moves forward in this exciting next chapter. Best wishes in her new business venture.
