The OG of the OC is off the market! That’s right. After years of begging hinting, Vicki Gunvalson is engaged to Steve Lodge. Since Real Housewives of Orange County is currently filming, there’s no doubt that the engagement was filmed. Right?
Not only that, but there were some rampant rumors that Vicki only secured her full-time status because she promised an engagement. Before that, the cast started filming without her. It was unclear if she would be full-time, part-time, or off the show. Now, Vicki has secured her orange rock.
Vicki shared the news (along with a ring photo) on Instagram. She told her followers, “I said ‘YES’. #engaged #happy #mylove.” Of course, she did. She’s been pushing for that ring for YEARS. Very publicly. Surprisingly, she didn’t push him away.
Vicki wrote a post for Steve’s Instagram too. Steve shared the same photo on his own Instagram page. Steve wrote, “She said yes #blessedday #engaged#happywifehappylife.”

Not only did Vicki (allegedly) get her full-time spot back with this engagement. Still, it’s also likely that she guaranteed a spot for the following season. However, there is just no way Vicki would get married away from the Real Housewives of Orange County cameras. Right? Will she invite any of her frienemies in the cast to be in the bridal party? Just imagine a whole season full of Vicki-focused events. It’s her dream come true! And, unfortunately, a nightmare for the rest of them.
Plus, love her or hate her, everyone has to admit that Vicki’s bachelorette party is bound to be a wild episode. We all know she’s dancing on a bar in Mexico. Let’s just hope she’s not wetting the bed his time around. That was not the best look.
