You know that old saying, “don’t bite the hand that feeds you”? It looks like the main players on the Vanderpump Rules stage missed that one. Fans of the show have enjoyed watching people test relationship boundaries, become obsessed with former loves, and make poor decisions in general. Luckily for stars like Stassi Schroeder, Ariana Madix, and Kristen Doute, they have been afforded the benefit of making a hefty salary in the process.
Now the once young, attractive, eager-to-achieve-stardom crew have matured into, well, older versions of what they were before. The difference is they are currently doing it with the ability to purchase $2 million dollar homes. This is thanks to Lisa Vanderpump, because, after all, she hired them in the first place. She even went so far as to partner up with two of the show’s veterans, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz to open the stunning TomTom. One might assume they would be grateful for the opportunities Lisa has given them. One might assume they would appreciate not having to work paycheck to paycheck at a 9 to 5 job. And one might assume they would appreciate the benefits of fame that were basically SURved to them on a silver platter. Well, my friends, one might be wrong…
Thanks to Bravo and Lisa, a lucky group of individuals have achieved quite a bit of notoriety (and money) since the show began. Wouldn’t anyone feel obliged to speak kindly of the person responsible for their ability to live a comfortable lifestyle? In short, the answer is a big NOPE.
Us Weekly shared a video from the Vanderpump Rules After Show. In the video, Ariana reflected on the conversation with LVP during the season finale. During that episode, Ariana voiced concerns over Lisa’s perceived mistreatment of Tom 1 and Tom 2.
“Literally as the words were coming out of my mouth, I realized that it was a completely pointless endeavor,” Ariana explained. “She’ll never take what I’m saying seriously. I’ll always be her, like, minion, you know? What is the point? All I’m going to do is make her mad. … She’ll get vindictive. She’ll try to get back at me for having this opinion and these concerns, so you know what? Screw it. I’ll just go back to my f–king corner and stay out of it and live my life.”

Right. Pardon my ignorance, but who the hell are you anyway? Have you missed out on any Botox appointments because of Lisa? Have you lost any Instagram endorsements because of Lisa? No? Well then, you might want to pipe down.
Naturally, her new best friend Kristen tagged in to agree with the statement. “She can literally come up to you and say, ‘You ran over my cat,’” the 36-year-old explained. “And you’ll be like, ‘Number one, I’m not even in town, and number two, you don’t have a cat.’ And she’s like, ‘Keep telling yourself that.’ And you suddenly are like, ‘Did I run over her cat?’” Hey Kristen, how is that t-shirt line going? Also, the reason why you are still on this show is more mysterious than time travel.

Ariana continued her whining complaints, “If Lisa says the sky is purple, every person in the entire world will be like, ‘Lisa’s word is gold, so the sky must be purple,’” she said. “She can do no wrong in anyone’s eyes, so it’s, like, really hard to have a difference of opinion with her.”
Tom 1 chimed in with his thoughts as well. “They [Lisa and Ken Todd] can sometimes be very aggressive,” he said. “I disagree with that way of leading. And to me, you get loyalty by giving happiness and positive reinforcement, not through intimidation, not through arrogance or whatever.” Agreed.

Now we will all sit and wait whilst you explain what has been done to receive positive reinforcement. Was it when you publicly complained about Lisa’s daughter, Pandora Todd, not being skilled enough to participate in the cocktail menu? Perhaps it was when Tom 2’s investment check bounced? None of those? So basically we’re still waiting…
While Stassi sat alongside Ariana and Kristen blatantly bashing the person responsible for their success, she at least had the decency to look somewhat mortified. She managed to say, “Even now, I’m scared,” the 30-year-old said. “Even now, talking about this makes me feel uncomfortable and nervous and, like, ‘F–k, am I going to be punished for something that I say?’ That freaks me out. I’m fearful for us right now. Could you just, like, delicately edit that so that we still are asked back next season?” At least someone knows who is putting food on their table and vodka in their glasses.

I have another one of my great ideas! Since Ariana is clearly so victimized by the heinous ways of Lisa, she should quit her job, effective immediately. I feel confident NO ONE wants her or Kristen’s suffering to continue.
Release yourselves from the television contract you willingly signed and go forth in your lives of… what did you do again? Oh yes, your successful acting and comedy career! Hopefully, Lisa is far too busy running her 3 LA restaurants, cocktail garden in Las Vegas, rescue dog organization, and filming of two television shows to worry about the words coming out of your mouth. Because in my feeble opinion, the only thing you should be saying is, “thank you”.
