For a long time, Stassi Schroeder was the designated “villain” on Vanderpump Rules. Now, it’s pretty easy to justify that label for most of the cast members. Almost all of them have filled that role for an episode or two. Even so, it was easy to feel for Stassi during her mom Dayna Schroeder’s appearances earlier this season.
While fawning all over Stassi’s man Beau Clark, Dayna told her daughter, “I don’t want you to be yourself and mess it up.” That was very harsh. She also got wasted at Stassi’s birthday and used that as an excuse to talk about her daughter’s boyfriend’s penis. It was even more cringe-worthy than it sounds. So where does the mother/daughter duo stand today? Things are not great, which is (sadly) not-at-all surprising to any of the viewers.
During an episode of the Vanderpump Rules After Show, an off-camera producer asked Stassi, “How do Beau and your mom get along right now?” Why even ask that question? Clearly, Dayna was enthralled with Beau. The only person she didn’t seem to be feen of was her own daughter.
With that said, Stassi revealed, “Well I’m not talking to my mom right now, therefore, they’re not talking right now.” That is not surprising. At all. #TeamStassi on this one.
She continued, “They did get along, like we all did, until… Now it’s just Beau’s respecting my wishes.” That makes perfect sense.

Kristen Doute chimed in to clarify, “It has nothing to do with Beau and your mom.” That’s pretty obvious, but thank you, Kristen. Again, it’s clear that Dayna is very fond of Beau. She insulted her own daughter as a result.
Stassi added, “It has to do with me, and I’m just taking a little breather.”
In another interview, Tom Sandoval shared his own theory on Dayna’s behavior. He said, “I feel like Stassi’s mom watches Housewives and other shows. And assumes that’s how people should act [at] her age.” In response, Tom Schwartz theorized, “I think she just drank too much.” This is something that Dayna admitted after that episode aired.

Stassi’s most infamous ex-boyfriend Jax Taylor added, “The last few times I talked to her, she drank a ton. At Stassi’s birthday, she was drunk.” That’s an understatement.
Sandoval shared, “It’s like she feels some sort of responsibility to throw shit in that fan and let it spray everywhere.” As gross as that metaphor is, it does seem pretty accurate. Poor Stassi.
