Feathers were ruffled at part 1 of Vanderpump Rules reunion. I am not referring to Raquel Leviss’s dress, however. That looked like it was designed by Bed, Bath and Beyond. Instead, I’m talking about Raquel’s boyfriend James Kennedy, who nearly faced off with everyone in the cast.
At one point, James and his arch nemesis Jax Taylor almost come to blows over some allegations made on Twitter. Their exchange got so heated that Andy Cohen had to separate the pair. Ariana Madix had a front row seat to the exchange.
“Extra” touched base with Ariana to get her thoughts on the confrontation. Ariana told them, “They yell at each other. They say a lot of the same things back and forth to each other. They hate each other.”
Ariana continued, “Andy Cohen stood up and got in between them. Jax has never hit anyone ever in his life. He likes to threaten to hit people a lot, he likes to be ‘held back,’ but I think you could hold him back with your pinky finger. I don’t think he was actually ever going to hit anybody.”
Ariana didn’t want to get caught in the crossfire. She recalled, “It was happening right in front of me. I think you could see I was hoping I didn’t get hit with any shrapnel.”
Ariana doesn’t think there is hope for James and Jax to have a friendship in the future. She said, “I don’t think James and Jax will ever be cool.”

Ariana promises she’ll have some drama of her own. She teased, “The whole day was heated. The whole day was 16 hours of heated filming with myself included-a lot of very loud personalities.”
She revealed that the cast is not in a good place. “Listen, no, everybody is splintered. There is underlying tension with everybody.”
The tension won’t keep Ariana away. She said, “If we have a season 8, I would love to be back.”
Previously, Extra talked to Scheana Marie about the reunion. She said it was the easiest one for her so far. “I didn’t cry, my lashes stayed on,” she said. Sadly, that might be one of the most exciting things about the reunion so far.
