My, my, my when it rains, it truly pours. Jenelle Evans, former Teen Mom 2 cast member has had a difficult time lately. If having her family dog killed by her husband, David Eason, being fired from Teen Mom 2 wasn’t enough, her children have been removed from her home. It would seem that the crux of most of her current issues can be traced back to her husband.
We have watched Jenelle’s ex, Nathan Griffith petition for full custody of his son, Kaiser this season, without much success. Nathan believed his son was being abused after finding bruises on his body. His child claimed David hit him. These claims had been virtually ignored by the courts, until recently. David shot and killed the family’s French bulldog, Nugget earlier this month. David justified shooting the dog because it bit his youngest daughter, Ensley. In no way, does that justify brutally killing a dog. David is now being investigated for animal cruelty.
David’s antics have intensified and become increasingly unstable over the years. Many believe Jenelle is in an abusive and controlling relationship. If you remember, she called 911 last year and later denied that David had purposely hurt her. Her own mother, Barbara Evans told producers this season that she believed David “is hurting her”. I don’t think anyone will dispute there are more than a few signs of possible abuse in this household.
According to In Touch Weekly, Nathan’s son, Kaiser was removed from Jenelle’s care first. CPS authorized the child’s grandmother, Doris, Nathan’s mom, to pick him up from daycare and remain in her custody.

US Weekly reports the daughter David and Jenelle share, Ensley, was removed as well. Their daughter is in the care of David’s mother, along with his eldest daughter from a previous relationship, Maryssa. Jenelle’s eldest son, Jace still resides with her mother, Barbara, who has had custody for the majority of his life.
If Jenelle ever hopes to regain her kids, career, and a healthy life, she should start divorce paperwork. Although she has had issues throughout her life, it like seems they have gotten worse with this toxic relationship. Hopefully, she will find the strength to get some help and rebuild her life.
