Well, something that rhymes with spit has hit the fan. This has been a busy time for new mom and Shahs of Sunset star, Mercedes “MJ” Javid. Recently giving birth to son, Shams, MJ had both a difficult pregnancy and delivery. After spending time in the ICU due to complications, MJ and husband, Tommy Feight, should be basking in the glow of finally becoming parents to a child they fought to conceive. MJ has stated she is already thinking about baby number two, and consistently thanks her husband for his support.
But things have apparently taken a dark turn for the couple. Despite a close relationship with co-star, Reza Farahan, he did not visit MJ while she was hospitalized. Reza was not alone, however, as none of the Shahs cast reached out during her difficult time. MJ has gone through multiple spats with her friends in the past, usually coming to a resolution by the time filming is over and moving forward. Now, something has happened between MJ and Reza. Could this put their relationship in jeopardy for good?
Reza is currently claiming that MJ’s husband has threatened his life. According to an article in People, Reza has been granted a restraining order against Tommy. Reza’s request for the order against Tommy was signed and filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Tommy has to stay at least 100 yards away from Reza, his home, his job, his vehicle, and his husband, Adam Farahan. Reza states, “At 2:18 p.m. on 5/19 he [Tommy] called and threatened my life by phone and at 2:34 p.m. he vandalized our home,” he claims in the documents. “Adam Farahan was with me and there’s video of the event.”
Video footage shows a man throwing pots, plants, and outdoor decor. Not the outdoor decor! Then, he hopped a fence. Wait, Tommy can hop a fence? Reza also writes in the documents that Tommy was ALLEGEDLY “holding a bat in the video when he showed up at my home.”

“At 2:18 p.m. he called and said he was going to kill me. At 2:34 p.m. he was caught on video vandalizing my home,” Reza claims in the documents.
Where the hell is Darth Vida? And why is she allowing all of this crazy mess to go down? When we last saw MJ and Reza together at the Season 7 reunion, they seemed to be all kool and the gang with no issues between each other. Considering MJ was on bedrest for a good portion of her pregnancy, what on earth could have occurred between the two best friends to send Tommy into an ALLEGED bat-wielding psycho?
Reza stated that both he and Adam fear for their safety after the incident. He did say he was not harmed and that police responded to the situation. A Los Angeles Police Department officer confirmed that officers took a vandalism report on May 19. In the documents, Reza also revealed that he and MJ, are no longer friends. He listed Tommy as the “husband of my former friend, Mercedes Javid.”

An unnamed source told People, “Before she went into the hospital everything was fine between Reza and her [MJ], but during the time that she was in ICU and intubated, Reza blocked her on social media and never reached out once.”
So if MJ is knocked out with a tube down her throat, did Tommy Boy start talking smack for some reason? He has had a less-than-appropriate mouth on him in the past. And I get that this has been an incredibly stressful time for the couple, but what gives?
A hearing is set for June 14 and Bravo had no comment. Is all of this a nice, packaged up storyline for Shahs of SunsetSeason 8? Are they really that desperate or did something terrible actually happen? While we might not have the info yet, this cast is not known for keeping their mouths shut.
