It looks likes the ladies of Real Housewives of Atlanta know how to keep the drama, and the paychecks, flowing. Season 11 of the show got off to a very slow start, but in the end, the season delivered. Eva Marcille finally tied the knot. NeNe Leakes dealt with her husband Gregg Leakes’ battle with colon cancer and with marital strife. Thankfully, he is cancer-free now. Cynthia Bailey found love again with Mike Hill. Newbie Shamari DeVoe was accused of having a drinking problem by Marlo Hampton. Porsha Williams fell in love with Dennis McKinley, got engaged, and gave birth to daughter Pilar (and a baby spin-off special!)
In a shocking turn of events, NeNe destroyed her longtime friendship with Cynthia because Cynthia did not advise NeNe that former RHOA star Kenya Moore might be at Cynthia’s party. NeNe, never one to be shy, referred to a glowing and pregnant Kenya as a “monster.” As for Cynthia, she looked shady about whether she knew Kenya was going to be at the party.
Last but not least, Kandi Burruss and expectant mom-to-be Porsha ventured into NeNe’s closet when NeNe told them not to enter. So what happened in that closet? NeNe ripped a camera man’s shirt while pulling him out. Somehow, Porsha’s belt came off, but NeNe denied putting her hands on Porsha. By the reunion, it was NeNe against the world. And being nasty and rude is sure paying off for NeNe if this report is true.
According to an article from RadarOnline, the Housewives of Atlanta are allegedly bringing home lots of cash for clutching that coveted peach! For Season 12, the cast is reportedly making nearly $10 million dollars. Of course, RHOA is the highest-rated Housewives franchise, so the fact that Bravo is willing to pay to keep the talent isn’t surprising. But what is surprising is who is making more, and who was whacked with a pay cut.
Shamari made $250,000 for Season 11 and was fired from the show. But she ended up accepting an offer for day rate pay. Fellow newbie Tanya Sam is set to earn $150,000 for next season after making $100,000 for Season 11. I am not sure what Tanya really brings to the show, but maybe we will get to know her better next season.
Marlo, who is everyone’s favorite pot-stirrer, banked $275,000 for Season 11, and was bumped up to $300,000 for the upcoming season. Newlywed Eva’s salary went from $250,000 to $275,000 for Season 12.

Porsha was hilarious during her pregnancy in Season 11, and she earned $1.25 million. Have you ever seen a pregnant woman so addicted to pickles? To come back for Season 12, Porsha was rewarded with a raise to $1.3 million. Model Cynthia found her job on the line. She made $1.75 million for Season 11 and received a raise to $1.8 million for the upcoming season. Of course, she will need to show more of her relationship with her boyfriend to keep that peach.
Kandi is a business mogul, and she naturally got a raise from $2.2 million to $2.3 million for the new season. Not too shabby, Kandi! NeNe brought in $2.75 million for Season 11. She is cashing in and getting $2.85 million for the upcoming season. NeNe is rich, b*tch! RadarOnline is reporting that NeNe’s deal is locked in for three more seasons, so the drama in Atlanta is far from over.

Kenya may be twirling back for Season 12, but she isn’t raking in the cash. During Season 10, before Kenya was let go from RHOA, she was earning $1.5 million. Her new husband, Marc Daly, is allergic to television cameras, and refused to appear on the show. The fact that Kenya’s husband didn’t want to film together led to Kenya’s firing. She is making $500,000 for Season 12, which is a major pay cut. Somewhere, NeNe is laughing with glee. (pun intended!)
TELL US- WHO DO YOU THINK DESERVED THEIR RAISE? SHOULD NENE BE THE HIGHEST PAID STAR ON REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA? ARE YOU SURPRISED THAT KENYA WILL BACK ON REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA?
