Every season there are Real Housewives who hype up product lines that never end up existing. It is all too common. Well, Karen Huger is not one of those Housewives.
After a lot of talk, the Real Housewives of Potomac star launched her fragrance. Of course, her desire to create a fragrance was met with a lot of doubt (especially from Gizelle Bryant). Now, her perfume is very much a real thing. In fact, Karen recently hosted a launch party. Some of the Potomac Housewives were there. However, there were no signs of the green eyed bandits, i.e. Gizelle and Robyn Dixon. This is not a surprise. At all.
Karen launched her fragrance La Dame in Tyson’s Corner, VA with her inner circle there to support her. Karen’s husband Ray Huger, aka the black Bill Gates, was by her side. Karen’s kids Rayvin and Brandon were on hand to support their mom as well.
The left side couch from the Season 3 reunion, Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard, showed up to celebrate the launch of La Dame. Candiace even brought her mom, Dorothy Dillard, an honorary cast member this season. Let’s hope Dorothy was just there to show support instead of dispensing criticism like we’ve seen all season long.

Surprisingly, Ashley Darby went to the event. It’s so hard to know where the Real Housewives of Potomac stand with each other these days. However, Karen has been very suspicious of Ashley’s relationship with Michael Darby for years. In turn, Ashley (along with Gizelle and Robyn) questioned Karen’s living arrangements. However, they must be cool if Ashley came through for the fragrance launch.
