Cameran Eubanks is one of the less-controversial subjects on Southern Charm. Fans of the show have watched Cam become a successful real estate broker. She found the love of her life. And after a lot of soul searching, decided to have a baby. Palmer Corrine was born in November 2017, and Cameran has no regrets. Viewers did watch her internal struggle with getting pregnant in the first place. Believe it or not, not every female grows up yearning to birth a baby.
After marrying husband, Jason Wimberly, Cameran found herself on the receiving end of “the” question. It is the plight of most couples after they tie the knot. But Cameran was never shy about her reluctance to have children. Ultimately she sought counseling and after weighing the pros and cons, had a disgustingly cute kid. Now Cameran is speaking up about potential siblings for baby Palmer. She says she is “one and done”, and that is totally okay.
When Jason initially proposed to Cameran, she was straight up about her disinterest in breeding. In an interview with People, she gives the scoop.
“I was on the fence about having one in the first place and again when [Jason] got down on his knee. I said, ‘Hold up. Just so you know, if kids are a non-negotiable for you, you can’t marry me because I might not give them to you.’” Hey, at least she was honest. A lot of people could have gone another route with a big ‘ole diamond flashing in their face.
Jason did want children, however, and this obviously entered into Cameran’s decision to procreate. 3 1/2 years after getting married, Palmer made her grand debut. As most women know, sometimes time is not on our side when trying to get pregnant, which was an influencing factor for Cam.
Cameran shared, “I thought to myself, ‘What if my eggs aren’t good, or what if I change my mind three years later and then I can’t get pregnant? Am I gonna regret this decision?’”

Now that Palmer is here, Cameran is once again facing questions. Because most people are too nosy for their own good, folks are wondering when Palmer is going to get a sibling. The new mom has a great answer for them.
“The big thing [I hear] is, ‘Well, you need to give her a sibling. That’s so selfish,’ ” she says. “And I say, ‘I can either give her a sibling or I can give her a sane mother.’ And I think giving her a happy, healthy, mentally sane mother is way more important than a brother or sister that she’s probably gonna fight with anyway.” THIS RIGHT HERE. It is not a mother’s responsibility to cater to what other people want. First and foremost, you take care of your kid. But it is difficult to raise a good human if you aren’t taking care of yourself, trust me on this one.

While Cameran navigates the daily challenges of motherhood, sometimes she misses being, well, selfish. “I see my friends that don’t have kids that are lying out on the beach on Saturday, and I can’t lie. I’m jealous,” she admits. “There’s a lot to be said [for] not having children. My anxiety has gone through the roof. I’m stressed out. For as many of the positive things that it adds to your life, it does add some stress. Because as much as you love [your child], you’re constantly worried about them.”
Good for Cameran for having enough sense to not over-extend herself. If one is all you can handle, or you choose not to have children, that’s cool. Besides, if she had another kid, who would take care of Shep Rose and Craig Conover?
