Real Housewives of Potomac fans got to witness another round of Gizelle Bryant versus Karen Huger during the last episode. These two ladies just don’t seem to understand the other’s point of view. It does beg the question, why are they pushing for a friendship so much? Or is it producers influencing?
The ladies did manage to keep it civil at their luncheon, but Karen’s choice of after hour activities didn’t sit well with Gizelle. She continued to express her surprise with some backhanded, passive-aggressive comments. That’s probably easier to do than some introspection as to why Karen didn’t want to spend time with her.
Gizelle did answer some questions about it in her Bravo blog. As usual, she responds in that witty, passive-aggressive manner fans have come to know and love. Gizelle said, “Karen never stops amazing me. One minute she says that she needs to rest and clear her mind because she is going through so much. The next minute she is chatting with complete strangers on IG. In the future, I will act like a complete stranger to Karen and that will guarantee us to become BFF’s, pen pals, and sorority sisters.”

The other conflict of the evening occurred between Ashley Darby and Candiace Dillard. Gizelle did instigate that confrontation, so she likely has an opinion on it. She sided with Ashley and her rights to privacy over her body, “look if Ashley wants to drink until the cows come home that is clearly her right. Unlike some other ladies Ashley can actually hold her liquor and control herself.”
Gizelle said of Candiace, “Candiace is all up in Ashley’s reproductive organs when she needs to be worried about her mother treating her like a second class citizen.”

After the excitement of the evening wears off, Candiace may have an issue with Gizelle repeating her sentiments to Ashley. And in front of an audience, as usual. It seems these two are setting up for some future conflict?
