Cameran Eubanks might be the most even-keeled person on reality TV. She rarely causes any drama and she gets to sit back and narrate Southern Charm. She’s basically been the voice of reason since Season 1 in a cast that is made up of wildly unpredictable people (ahem Thomas Ravenel, Shep Rose, Kathryn Dennis). For someone who has worked in the reality TV world since she was nineteen, I’d say this is a feat!
I’ve always wondered if Cameran is truly a gem or a producer’s pet (probably both). She doesn’t have to bleed for her spot on Southern Charm the way other cast members do. I’m looking at you Kathryn and Craig Conover. Everyone on the show is so open about the messy parts of their lives, (i.e., business failures, relation-Shep failures, and their overall reality). Meanwhile, Cameran talks about “finding balance” and gets to keep a major of her life private – on a very public reality show. We know she has an adorable baby, Palmer, because we always get to see her, but haven’t you wondered what her husband looks like? Cameran got married in between Season 1 and Season Two. However, we’ve only ever heard her husband on speaker phone! Mmmm Hmmm.
All of that is about to change! Cameran told Entertainment Tonight that viewers will finally see her husband, Jason Wimberly, an anesthesiologist, make a cameo on camera. “I wore him down,” Cameran shared.
Cameran added, “Jason is a very private, very quiet person, and I convinced him to come to a group event, and I told him there would be a lot of people. You know, it’s not going to be focused on you. So, I think it actually calmed his nerves and he actually shows up to something. So the viewers will get to see my husband.”

Just because Jason is more of a private person than his wife does not mean he doesn’t support her and her very public endeavors. Cameran also shared that “it’s a big misconception” that her husband hates the show. “My husband is a super fan of Bravo, in general, and Southern Charm,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “He loves it, so I think he was a little excited, now that it’s become successful, to be a part of it. He’s riding my coattails,” she joked.
Jason is set to make only one appearance this season in one of last few episodes, which is good enough for now. Sure, he happens to be a busy doctor who probably wants to keep up a professional appearance, but I really think he doesn’t have time for the show because he’s busy playing with Elvis (the neighbor’s dog).

Jason doesn’t have any public social media but he does certainly get a lot of public shout outs on Elvis’ Instagram. Who knows, maybe he’ll make more appearances if he can bring the dog!
TELL US – ARE YOU EXCITED TO FINALLY SEE JASON? DO YOU THINK HE’LL MAKE MORE APPEARANCES IN COMING SEASONS? IS IT FAIR THAT SOME CAST MEMBERS KEEP PARTS OF THEIR LIVES PRIVATE, WHILE OTHERS DON’T?
