What happens when the show you used to make yourself relevant is no longer working for you? Trash it, of course.
Former Southern Charm lothario Thomas Ravenel is not happy Andy Cohen and ex Kathryn Dennis are talking about him. Because of his reputation and all.Apparently, Thomas predator of young women is spitting mad his ex is bringing up their custody case on this season of Southern Charm. And her and Andy are using the show to bash him publicly. I guess he has enough bad press going on right now. What with the whole pesky pending sexual assault case.
According to an article in The Blast, Thomas filed court documents requesting a hearing because images of his kids, and mention of his custody battle with Kathryn, were mentioned in a current trailer for the show.

Thomas is also claiming that on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Kathryn looked “highly intoxicated on drugs and/or alcohol.” Kathryn also allegedly told Andy that Thomas “won’t leave [her] alone” and Andy told her “everyone is rooting for you.” Southern Charm is really all about trashing Thomas. Or at least it is in his mind.
Thomas claims there is a gag order in place which prohibits them from talking about the case. And that Andy telling Kathryn everyone was “rooting for [her]” was really a disparaging comment against Thomas. Because it makes him seem like a liar. In the documents, Thomas mentions that a current storyline for Kathryn is her “getting full custody or her children.” He claims Bravo failed to mention that they planned to use their custody battle as a storyline.

For her part, Kathryn filed a response against Thomas’ claims where she states she never said “disparaging” remarks about him. And that he “cherry-picked” comments she had made while on WWHL. As for her appearing intoxicated? Well, according to her that is tryingstrying to “deflect from his own alleged drinking problem.” Let’s hope these two can eventually work things out in the best interest of their children.
