On last night’s episode of Texicanas, lines were drawn and friendships were lost. Both Penny Ayarzagoitia and Mayra Farret found themselves on the outs with Karla Ramirez for different reasons. When Penny attempted to defend Mayra the group twisted it around on her. Rather than the ladies admitting they did something that hurt someone, they are more concerned by how Mayra found out. SMH…. Is this how these women teach their kids to resolve conflict? While Mayra is nowhere near perfect, I don’t agree with women jumping on a bandwagon to attack one person. It’s a little to mean girls for my taste. Even if you don’t care for her, they know what they did on that trip was wrong.
The ladies are still at Anayancy Nolasco’s charity event. It’s great that she wants to give back, but I am not impressed at all by this event. Penny is put on the hot seat about how Mayra saw the group conversation. I think it’s crazy how these women talk behind a person’s back, but don’t want to be held accountable. Tensions are high. Karla and Penny end up bickering to the point where Karla and her husband say some harsh words on their way out.
Karla talks to her husband, Manoli Ramirez, about her argument with Penny the night before. I guess they are the perfect couple because neither seems very forgiving. Meanwhile, Penny goes on a date with her husband, Raul Ayarzagoitia, and they want to move past the argument. Little do they know, Karla can hold a grudge like no other. The husbands decide to get together to discuss the drama that has been going on with their wives. They hope for everyone’s sake that things will get back to normal in their friendships. Sorry, but I highly doubt that with this group. They would be better off staying as far as possible away from their wives cat-fights.
Luz Ortiz invites the ladies to attend a gay pride event. Karla is still in her fefe’s and is clearly ignoring Penny at the event. Wow… This woman is seriously immature. Once again Penny feels the need to explain herself to the ladies. Karla isn’t interested in hearing anything she has to say at this point. This woman is way too old, to be such a petty individual. SMH… Is this stupid argument that serious?

Penny checks in with Mayra and fills her in on Anayancy’s charity event. Penny is still upset about the way Karla treated her. Mayra’s advice is just to be the bigger person and to not let anyone take her out of character. One thing is for sure, we will see if that stands true at the Fourth of July party everyone will be attending.
It’s the day of the party and all signs point to a shit storm. Not only is the weather bad, but the attitudes are even worse for some. Lorena Martinez tries to organize a peace treaty between Karla and Mayra. She must have done some type of Jedi mind trick because Karla actually agrees to have a conversation. The two ladies step into another room and discuss their grievances. When Karla starts yelling about her jewelry again, Mayra decides she has had enough. She simply just gets up and walks away Ugh… I don’t think this beef is going to be resolved anytime soon.
Well, I guess it’s time for round two. Penny pulls Karla aside to explain how their disagreement at the charity was disrespectful to her husband. Karla goes in defense mode and then decides to apologize. Mayra decides to leave after her screaming match with Karla. I’m sure after some of these women watch the full season, even more people will fall out. I guess the saying is true, with friends like these, who needs enemies?! Mayra, most of these women are not your true friends. Find some women who won’t talk about behind your back or on national TV!
